The Local Government Unit of Alubijid successfully kicked off the celebration of the 126th Philippine Civil Service Month through a series of activities that brought together LGU employees in a celebration of camaraderie, teamwork, and public service.

The opening activity featured the Torch Lighting Ceremony, Zumba Dance, Group Chanting, and the Opening of the Sportsfest, highlighting the energy, unity, and active participation of government employees.

The celebration serves as an opportunity to recognize the dedication and valuable contributions of every public servant in delivering responsive, efficient, and quality service to the people of Alubijid.

The Local Government Unit of Alubijid, through the Office of Agricultural Services (OAS), in partnership with the Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) Region X, successfully conducted the Mobile Health Services (MHS) and CFIDP Information Caravan on September 1โ€“2, 2026, at the Municipal Covered Court, Alubijid Misamis Oriental.

The activity was graced by the presence of Mayor Emmanuel "Emy" Jamis, together with the Sangguniang Bayan of Alubijid, headed by Vice Mayor Rhanndy "Pipip" Labis-Akut, and representatives from the Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) Region X, led by Regional Manager Ms. Yvette B. Guanzon, along with PCA officials and personnel.

The two-day activity brought essential services and information closer to coconut farmers and their dependents, supporting their health and well-being while strengthening awareness of programs under the Coconut Farmers and Industry Development Plan (CFIDP).

The 12th Sangguniang Bayan, led by Vice Mayor Rhanndy "Pipip" Labis-Akut, formally presented to the Municipal Mayor the adopted Comprehensive Land Use Plan (CLUP) and the approved Zoning Ordinance of the Municipality of Alubijid, laying a strong foundation for sustainable growth, responsible land use, and orderly development that will benefit both present and future generations.
