SYNOPSIS : At 3:00 PM today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data over the coastal waters of Guiuan, Eastern Samar (11.0°N, 125.9°E). Southwest Monsoon affecting the western sections of Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
Forecast weather condition:
>>Bicol Region, Visayas, Caraga, Marinduque, and Romblon will experience cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms caused by LPA. Possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rains.
>>Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Aurora, Laguna, Rizal, and Quezon will experience cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms caused by Trough of LPA. Possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains
>>Metro Manila, Bataan, Cavite, Batangas, the rest of MIMAROPA, and the rest of Mindanao will experience cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms caused by Southwest Monsoon. Possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains
>>The rest of Luzon will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms caused by Localized Thunderstorms. Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
>Forecast Wind and Coastal Water Condition:
>>Light to Moderate winds from south to southwest will prevail over Visayas, Mindanao, and Palawan. Coastal waters will be slight to moderate / (0.6 to 2.5 meters).
>>Light to Moderate winds from east to southeast will prevail over the rest of the country. Coastal waters will be slight to moderate /(0.6 to 2.1 meters).
