In celebration of Arbor Day, the SSLG, YES-O, and BKD Officers of Balaoa National High School conducted a Tree Planting Activity on June 25, 2026, at Patpatayan, Balaoa, Tadian, Mountain Province. The activity aimed to promote environmental conservation while encouraging students to take an active role in protecting and restoring nature.
Working together with enthusiasm and a shared sense of responsibility, the participants planted a total of 25 tree seedlings, consisting of 15 cacao seedlings generously donated by Barangay Captain Nino Pelwigan of Tue, Tadian, and 10 pine tree seedlings contributed by the students. Each seedling planted symbolized the participants' commitment to creating a greener and healthier environment for future generations.
The activity not only beautified the area but also strengthened the values of teamwork, volunteerism, and environmental stewardship among the student leaders. It served as a reminder that even small actions, such as planting a tree, can make a lasting impact on the community and the environment.
The school extends its sincere gratitude to Barangay Captain Nino Pelwigan for his generous donation of the cacao seedlings and to the students who contributed pine tree seedlings. Through the collective efforts of the SSLG, YES-O, and BKD officers, the Arbor Day celebration became a meaningful initiative that inspired everyone to continue caring for and protecting the environment.
