United for Education: The 2025 Brigada Eskwela Launch of Bagnen NHS & Bagnen Elementary School
The spirit of Bayanihan and community collaboration came alive once again as Bagnen National High School and Bagnen Elementary School launched their Brigada Eskwela Kick-Off Program for 2025.
The event began with a vibrant parade and registration, where enthusiastic teachers, students, parents, and stakeholders marched around the community, showcasing their support for this year’s theme and goals. The parade set the tone for a meaningful and united event.
The program proper commenced with the Opening Ceremony, followed by an uplifting prayer led by Father Lawig Ngaya-an, seeking blessings for a safe, productive, and successful school year. The crowd then stood in solemn respect for the singing of the Philippine National Anthem, beautifully rendered by Ma’am Juvy M. Liis.
Ma’am Nelia Palangyos, the dedicated School Head of Bagnen Elementary School, delivered a warm and heartfelt Welcome Address, expressing gratitude to all participants and encouraging continuous unity in maintaining a conducive learning environment.
To highlight the objective of the gathering, Sir Oscar C. Moco, School Head of Bagnen National High School, gave the Statement of Purpose, emphasizing the importance of community involvement in preparing schools for the upcoming academic year.
In celebration of the community spirit, Ma’am Ruth Kacayon proudly presented the Volunteers and Stakeholders, recognizing the invaluable support from individuals and organizations who have consistently been part of the school’s journey.
Health and safety being a top priority, Midwife Guerrero took the floor to discuss Dengue Awareness, offering vital information and preventive measures to ensure the well-being of learners and the community, especially during the rainy season.
Messages of support followed, starting with Sir Paul Sawate, the representative of the Barangay Local Government Unit (BLGU), who reaffirmed the LGU’s commitment to support the school’s initiatives. Sir Francis K. Lacbawan, President of the BNHS PTA, also delivered an inspiring message, calling on parents to remain active partners in the holistic development of the learners.
Adding excitement to the event, a surprise raffle prepared by the teachers brought smiles and cheers from the attendees, highlighting the fun and camaraderie that define Brigada Eskwela.
To seal the commitment of everyone present, a solemn Pledge of Commitment was recited by all, symbolizing the shared responsibility of the entire community in ensuring that schools are clean, safe, and ready for learning.
Indeed, the Brigada Eskwela Kick-Off Program 2025 was not just an event, but a celebration of unity, service, and shared hope for a brighter future for the learners of Bagnen.
