Today, I delivered my PRIVILEGE SPEECH entitled “The People Behind Peñafrancia.”

Behind the grand celebration of Peñafrancia are the people who work quietly behind the scenes our cleaners, enforcers, responders, workers, volunteers, and ordinary Nagueños.

As Chairman of the Committee on Tourism, as we prepare for this year’s Peñafrancia Festival, let us not only celebrate its grandeur, but also recognize and appreciate the people who make it possible.

Mayor Vicenta Aguilar of Agdangan, Quezon Province, together with her colleagues from the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Agdangan, visited Naga City for a courtesy visit and to personally meet with Mayor Leni Robredo.
