AKLAS Estudyante History
To advance the the democratic rights of every student, concerned student leaders agreed to form a new political party Aktibong Kalipunan ng mga Lider Atenista para sa tunay na Serbisyong pang-Estudyante. AKLAS Estudyante was formed during the height of student movement against the CPTA Mandatory Pa-raffle and Tuition Fee Increase Consultation and the growing clamor for Ar
royo's ouster after Jun Lozada's ZTE-NBN expose; a proof that students are not indifferent to the issues confronting the university and the country.
