Today, the Barangay Central Poblacion, City of Naga, Cebu family gathered with heavy hearts to bid our final farewell to our beloved former Barangay Health Worker (BHW), Ms. Gemma De Gracia.

As a final tribute to her years of faithful and selfless service, her final journey to her resting place was respectfully assisted by our Barangay Public Safety Officers (BPSO), led by the Chairman on Peace and Order, Hon. Lester G. Obando, together with our Punong Barangay, Hon. Denis A. Patalingjug, the Sangguniang Barangay Members, barangay employees, and residents of Barangay Central Poblacion.

United in prayer and remembrance, we offered our final respects and accompanied Ms. Gemma on her last journeyβ€”a reflection of our gratitude for the compassion, dedication, and love she shared with our community throughout the years.

Though she may no longer be with us, her legacy of service and kindness will forever remain in the hearts of the people she served.
Our deepest condolences once again to the De Gracia family. May God grant them strength, comfort, and peace during this time of sorrow.

With deep sorrow and heartfelt sympathy, the Barangay Central Poblacion, City of Naga, Cebu announces the passing of our beloved former Barangay Health Worker (BHW), Ms. Gemma De Gracia.

Ms. Gemma faithfully served our barangay with compassion, dedication, and genuine care for many years. Her unwavering commitment to the health and well-being of our community will always be remembered and cherished. Her legacy of selfless service has touched countless lives and will continue to inspire us all.

The Barangay Central Poblacion, City of Naga, Cebu, through its Gender and Development (GAD) Program, successfully conducted an Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) Session on the Anti-Online Sexual Abuse or Exploitation of Children (OSAEC) and Anti-Child Sexual Abuse or Exploitation Materials (CSAEM) Act.

The activity was spearheaded by Hon. Fe D. Repunte, Chairwoman of the Committee on Women, Family and Children, as part of the barangay's continuing commitment to safeguarding the rights, welfare, and protection of every child in our community.
We extend our sincere appreciation to our Resource Speaker from the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO), City of Naga, Ms. Christian Ella G. Lorsano, SWO I, for sharing her knowledge and expertise on recognizing, preventing, and reporting online child sexual abuse and exploitation. Her informative discussion empowered the participants to become more vigilant and responsible in protecting children both online and offline.

Our heartfelt gratitude also goes to all the residents and attendees of Barangay Central Poblacion for their active participation and unwavering support. Through education and community cooperation, we continue to build a safer, more informed, and child-friendly barangay.

Together, let us stand united in protecting every child from abuse, exploitation, and all forms of online harm.
