🌸 A Heartfelt Tribute to Our Teachers on World Teachers’ Day! 🌸

Our PTA Officers and SELG, led by Administrative Officer Ma’am Rosela Guieb and ADAS Ma’am Sharmaine Sumcad, surprised our teachers on World Teachers’ Day, Monday, October 5, 2026, right after the flag ceremony.

We were also honored by the presence of our beloved teacher retirees, Mrs. Rita Malamion and Mrs. Paulita Bernardez, who joined us in this meaningful celebration. Their presence made the occasion even more special as we celebrated not only the teachers of today but also those who have dedicated many years of their lives to educating and nurturing children. 🌷❤️

As a special tribute, the SELG Officers prepared a heartfelt poem for each teacher-adviser, which they personally rendered and presented together with a handmade flower containing a special dedication for each teacher. 🌸💐

The celebration was made even more meaningful through the message of our PTA President, Mrs. Julie P. Olucan, who expressed her heartfelt appreciation for the teachers and recognized the many sacrifices, efforts, patience, and dedication they give for the welfare and education of the children. She acknowledged that behind every lesson and every learner’s progress are teachers who tirelessly give their time, energy, and care.

Our PTA Officers also generously contributed in preparing tokens of appreciation for the teachers, as well as snacks and lunch, making the celebration even more special. Their thoughtfulness and support reflected the strong partnership between the school and the parents in honoring our teachers. ❤️

Our School Head, Ma’am Andromida B. Andawey, also prepared a flower for each teacher and shared a heartfelt message of appreciation to the SELG and PTA Officers for their initiative, effort, and thoughtfulness in making the surprise tribute possible. She encouraged the lower grade levels to continue this beautiful gesture in the coming years, allowing the spirit of appreciation and gratitude for teachers to be carried on from one generation of learners to another. 🌼

Our Master Teacher, Ma’am Dominga D. Ayodoc, also expressed her gratitude and appreciation for the thoughtful surprise tribute, sharing how meaningful it was to feel remembered and valued by the learners and parents.

This celebration was a beautiful reminder that appreciation does not have to be grand to be meaningful. A poem, a handmade flower, a simple token, a shared meal, and heartfelt words can make teachers feel valued for all the sacrifices they make each day for their learners. 💚

A Teachers’ Day Surprise, Made Special by Our PTA
A token of love, a cup of appreciation, and a table filled with delicious baked treats—made even more meaningful by the compassionate and thoughtful PTA of Namatec Elementary School. ❤️
And then came a beautiful surprise from our PTA—a heartfelt serenading song dedicated to our teachers. 🎶❤️ What a precious moment! The voices may not have been perfect, but the love and sincerity behind every note made the serenade more than enough. It was a beautiful reminder that appreciation does not have to be grand; when it comes from the heart, it becomes unforgettable.

This Teachers’ Day, October 5, your surprise warmed not only our hearts but also reminded us how blessed we are to have parents and partners who genuinely value and appreciate our teachers. More than the treats and gifts, it is your thoughtfulness, effort, time, and presence that truly touched us. Your simple gesture of love and appreciation means more than words can express.

To our dear PTA, thank you for thinking of us, for making us feel special, and for taking the time to celebrate with us. Your kindness and support inspire us to continue giving our best for our learners. We are truly grateful for each of you. 💐❤️

From Our SELG, With Love: A Surprise from the Hearts of Our Learners
What a beautiful surprise from our energetic and thoughtful SELG Officers! ❤️

Behind the scenes, they quietly prepared something truly special for their beloved teachers this 5th of October. From gathering heartfelt messages and appreciation from their fellow learners, to patiently practicing their poems, preparing their introductions for each teacher, and confidently facilitating the short program—they poured their time, effort, creativity, and love into making this Teachers’ Day unforgettable.

Their surprise may have been simple, but the thought, effort, and sincerity behind every preparation made it truly meaningful. Seeing our learners take the initiative to celebrate and appreciate their teachers is a moment that every mentor will treasure.

Indeed, you are truly your teachers’ children—learners who have grown not only in knowledge but also in kindness, gratitude, confidence, and love. Today, you have filled your teachers’ hearts to the fullest. 🥹❤️
