National Infection Prevention and Control Week 2026 Celebration 🇵🇭🦠

Keeping our hospital safe, one lesson at a time! 💙

As we mark the 2026 National Infection Prevention and Control Week, Ilocos Sur District Hospital – Narvacan held an important lecture led by our very own IPC Unit Head, Dra. Mary Grace B. Asuncion.

She highlighted how simple lapses in IPC practices can lead to serious complications like pneumonia and what we can all do to stop it. We were happy to see our hospital employees, patients, watchers, and visitors join us to learn how we can all help prevent the spread of infection.

NATIONAL INFECTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL (IPC) WEEK CELEBRATION 2026 🩹🧼

Theme: "Building responsive IPC systems: Strengthening monitoring, collaboration and resilience"

We are officially kicking off our National IPC Week Celebration here at Ilocos Sur District Hospital – Narvacan from July 6 to 10, 2026! 🇵🇭

This year, we come together to reinforce our commitment to building stronger, more responsive infection prevention systems—rooted in better monitoring, closer teamwork across all departments, and greater resilience to keep our patients, staff, and community safe.

We start today with our Kick-Off Activity right after the Flag Ceremony, followed by meaningful remarks from our leaders, the launch of our Hand Hygiene Campaign, and the start of our Grand IPC Rounds.

To our dedicated Nursing Service, medical staff, and every member of the ISDHN family: your hard work and daily dedication are the heart of these efforts. Let us stand together, learn together, and uphold the highest standards of safety for all.
