The 𝑩𝒖𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝑷𝒆𝒓𝒎𝒊𝒕𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑳𝒊𝒄𝒆𝒏𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑶𝒇𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒆 (BPLO) of Narvacan, together with the Market Enterprise Office, conducted an inspection at the Narvacan Farmer’s Market, Narvacan, Ilocos Sur.

The activity focused on checking if establishments have valid business permits and guiding vendors on securing the necessary documents.

Please be advised that this inspection is part of the municipality’s continuing effort to monitor business compliance, and follow-up visits will be conducted when necessary.

The 𝑩𝒖𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝑷𝒆𝒓𝒎𝒊𝒕𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑳𝒊𝒄𝒆𝒏𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑶𝒇𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒆 (BPLO) of Narvacan conducted an inspection of businesses in Barangay Quinarayan, Narvacan, Ilocos Sur.

The activity checked compliance with business permit requirements and guided business owners on securing the necessary permits and documents for their operations.

Please be advised that this inspection is part of the municipality’s continuing effort to monitor business compliance, and follow-up visits will be conducted when necessary.

𝐈𝐌𝐏𝐋𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐎𝐅 𝟒-𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐃 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐊𝐖𝐄𝐄𝐊

The Municipality of Narvacan informs the public that pursuant to Executive Order No. 09 – ECS, Series of 2026, issued by Mayor Edna Cabalo-Sanidad, and in line with Memorandum Circular No. 114, the Local Government Unit will implement a temporary Four-Day Compressed Workweek as an energy-saving measure.

Office Hours:
7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Working Days:
Monday to Thursday
Friday:
No regular office operations

The 40-hour workweek will be compressed into four (4) days with ten (10) working hours per day, exclusive of lunch break.

Scope and Coverage:
This arrangement shall cover all officials and employees of the Local Government Unit of Narvacan, regardless of status of appointment or employment.

Exemption:
Offices providing essential, basic, and vital services, including those responsible for health, public safety, and emergency preparedness and response, shall remain fully operational to ensure the continuous delivery of critical public services.

LGU offices shall also continue to observe a “No Noon Break” policy through skeletal staffing during lunch hours.

The public is advised to schedule their transactions from Monday to Thursday during office hours.

The activity covered both registered and unregistered businesses to check compliance with business permit requirements, safety regulations, and proper documentation. The visit also aimed to continue guiding business owners in securing the necessary permits and completing all requirements.

Please be advised that this remains part of the initial inspection, and the team will return for follow-up visits to monitor compliance.
