Yesterday’s Organizations Day was a meaningful celebration of unity, culture, and fellowship among the different student organizations.
The day began with engaging laro ng lahi activities, fostering teamwork, sportsmanship, and a deeper appreciation of Filipino traditions.
In the afternoon, the event was further highlighted by the Queen of BiPSU, where confidence, grace, and excellence were proudly showcased.
As the day came to a close, the Socials Night brought everyone together in an atmosphere of joy and camaraderie, creating lasting memories and strengthening the bonds within the university community.

Truly, Organizations Day was a testament to the vibrant spirit, cooperation, and shared purpose of the BiPSU family.

Breaking the Stigma: A Step Toward Mental Wellness 💚🧠

SSC officers, together with fellow students, joined an inspiring Mental Health Awareness Seminar last October 27, 2025. The session focused on understanding mental health, showing compassion, and most importantly—breaking the stigma that often surrounds it.

I see you, I hear you, I feel you. These words echoed the heart of the event—reminding everyone to recognize, listen, and empathize with one another.

Let's continue to speak up, support one another, and create a safe space for mental well-being.💚

SOLIDARITY STATEMENT OF THE FEDERATION OF SUPREME STUDENT COUNCIL

We, the Federation of Supreme Student Council (FSSC) of Biliran Province State University (BiPSU), stand in solidarity with The Pillar Publication, the official tertiary student publication of BiPSU Naval Campus, in the call for proper recognition and commemoration of the 39th EDSA People Power Revolution within our institution, following the declaration of the Marcos administration to commemorate the significant event as a special working holiday through Proclamation No. 727.

The FSSC, composed of student leaders from different programs across the university system, strongly denounces the deliberate attempt of the Marcos administration to distort the truth and the refusal to honor the movement that set the freedom for Filipinos against the Marcos Sr. dictatorship. We firmly believe that the EDSA Anniversary celebration must be freely observed beyond the corners of academic institutions to reflect upon the past tyranny and revisit the historic event that led to our democracy today.

In line with this, we respectfully call on the BiPSU administration to recognize the 39th EDSA People Power Revolution Anniversary as a significant event by declaring asynchronous classes on February 25, 2025, as we believe that educational institutions should disagree with any attempt at historical distortion and to continue to uphold the principles of democracy and freedom. By doing so, the university upholds its utmost commitment to preserving historical truth and fights against blatant attempts to revise our history, which is what academic institutions should do.

We, the FSSC, will continue to stand for what is right and fight against any attempt from the Marcos administration to distort and revise our historical truth, as this commemoration serves as a testament to the Filipinos who shed blood and put their life at stake for the sake of breaking free from the dictatorship.

As always, we stand for truth.
