Biliran PPO Joins Stakeholder Forum, Strengthening Support for Oplan Balik Eskwela 2026
CAMP DADIZON, NAVAL, BILIRAN – Demonstrating its steadfast commitment to community-oriented policing and the promotion of a safe and conducive learning environment, the Biliran Police Provincial Office, under the leadership of PCOL ALEX F DELOS SANTOS, Officer-in-Charge, participated in the Stakeholder Forum and Oplan Balik Eskwela Convergence for the Opening of Classes, School Year 2026–2027, held on June 3, 2026, at the Provincial Civic Center, Capitol Compound, Brgy. Calumpang, Naval, Biliran.
Representing the Provincial Office during the activity was PLTCOL TEODORA P SALARZA, Officer-in-Charge, Deputy Provincial Director for Administration.
Spearheaded by the Department of Education (DepEd) Schools Division of Biliran, graced by Hon. Rogelio J Espina, Governor, Biliran Province, the convergence brought together key stakeholders from various government agencies, local government units, and partner organizations to strengthen coordination and support mechanisms for the opening of classes.
Among the highlights of the event were the presentation of the objectives and strategic direction of this year’s Oplan Balik Eskwela, messages of commitment from participating stakeholders, and the ceremonial signing of the Pledge of Commitment, signifying a unified and collective effort to ensure a smooth, safe, and successful start of the academic year.
The Biliran Police Provincial Office reaffirmed its full support for the initiative and its readiness to deploy personnel, intensify police visibility, and strengthen coordination with DepEd, local government units, and other partner agencies. These efforts are geared toward maintaining peace and order, ensuring public safety, and providing a secure environment for students, teachers, and school personnel throughout the province.
