The Municipality of Dauin, through the support of Municipal Mayor Hon. Galicano A. Truita, encourages all Dauinanons, especially parents and guardians, to actively support the Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity (MR-SIA) of the Department of Health – Negros Island Region (DOH-NIR).

This important health initiative aims to provide additional protection to our children against measles and rubella and strengthen our community’s defense against vaccine-preventable diseases.

We encourage all parents and guardians to have their eligible children vaccinated and to work together with our health workers in making this campaign successful.

The Dauin Primary Care Facility, headed by Dr. Melpha B. Yee, successfully conducted a Bloodletting Drive today at the Municipal Evacuation Center aimed at helping replenish the community’s blood supply and providing hope to patients who need blood the most.

We are grateful for the presence and support of our Municipal Mayor, Hon. Galicano A. Truita, who personally took part in this meaningful activity and donated his blood for those in need. 🩸❤️

His simple act of kindness reminds us that one blood donation can save lives. Every drop counts, and every donor can make a difference.

Please be advised that NORECO II has announced a POSSIBLE ROTATIONAL POWER INTERRUPTION TODAY, AUGUST 14, 2026 (FRIDAY) due to the Red and Yellow Alerts issued by the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP).

🔌 POSSIBLE MANUAL LOAD DROPPING (MLD) SCHEDULE:

🕛 12:00 NN – 3:00 PM — Group 2
🕒 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM — Group 3
🕕 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM — Group 1

⚠️ IMPORTANT: This schedule will be implemented ONLY IF NGCP DIRECTS NORECO II TO CONDUCT MANUAL LOAD DROPPING (MLD).

👉 If NGCP does not issue an MLD directive, there will be NO rotational power interruption under this schedule.

Should MLD become necessary, affected areas may experience a power interruption of approximately ONE HOUR within the specified time frame. However, the actual affected areas, timing, and duration may change depending on NGCP’s real-time requirements and prevailing grid conditions.

📢Everyone is encouraged to take necessary precautions and plan ahead, especially households, businesses, offices, and establishments that may be affected by a possible interruption.

Please make sure to report to the Office of the Municipal Mayor TODAY to sign the required documents and finalize your scholarship application.

• 1 Long Brown Envelope
✍️ At the back of the envelope, write your COMPLETE NAME in this format:
SURNAME, FIRST NAME, MIDDLE NAME

📄 ADDITIONAL PENDING DOCUMENTS:
For those who have not yet submitted their Original Certificate of Registration (COR) and Photocopy of National ID with 3 Specimen Signatures, please bring and submit these documents as well.
