The Provincial Public Employment Service (PPESO) together with the Provincial Governor’s Office – Management Information System Division (PGO-MISD) successfully participated in the Capacity Building on the eGov-Compliant BaLinkBayan Website Template and Management Strategies for LGU Partners conducted by the Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO) on February 18–19, 2026 in Cagayan de Oro City.

The two-day training strengthened the Province of Agusan del Norte’s capacity to manage and customize its BaLinkBayan website in compliance with national eGovernment standards set by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT).

A key highlight of the activity was the presentation of the Agusan del Norte BaLinkBayan Website, showcasing the Province’s commitment to digital transformation, diaspora engagement, and improved online public service delivery.

Through this initiative, Agusan del Norte continues to strengthen its digital platforms to better serve overseas Filipinos and promote local development opportunities.

On March 2025, Mr. Jessem O. Cardona from the MIS division successfully led the Network Expansion Project. The offices benefiting from new network nodes include PACCO, PBO, PGSO, PHRMO, PIASO, the Tourism division of PGO, and PTO. This upgrade will improve the speed and efficiency of employee tasks.

PRO-TECH COMPUTER CENTER AND SERVICES held training sessions in MikroTik Basic and Advanced Engineering Bootcamp from February 17 to 23, 2025, at the Provincial Hospital Conference Room, conducted by certified MikroTik Engineer Engr. Roy L. Pamitala.

Mr. Jessem O. Cardona's Management and Information System Division Head sent technical staff to attend, benefiting PGAN through improved network performance, security, and cost savings.

On March 25, 2024, the MIS Software Team presented the latest version of the CenSys Social Welfare and Development Financial Assistance Module to the members of the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office and the Provincial Hospital. The comprehensive session included an in-depth overview of the module's workflow and a detailed demonstration of its functionalities. The users' response was overwhelmingly positive, indicating a favorable reception to the system. The main objective of the presentation was to familiarize members with the system's operations and gather constructive feedback for possible improvements. The success of this engagement highlights the potential effectiveness of the CenSys module in supporting Social Welfare and Development initiatives within the province. Ongoing communication and support will be crucial for integrating the system seamlessly into existing workflows.
