CMO Quarterly Assessment strengthens IMCOM coordination
FORT MAGSAYSAY, NUEVA ECIJA — The Installation Management Command, Philippine Army (IMCOM, PA), through the Office of the Assistant Chief of Staff for Civil-Military Operations, G7, successfully conducted the Quarterly Civil-Military Operations (CMO) Assessment on May 28, 2026. Utilizing a hybrid platform, the activity gathered all CMO Officers and NCOs from IMCOM’s subordinate units to synchronize efforts and review the command’s progress across all installations.
This assessment was designed to thoroughly evaluate the ex*****on, effectiveness, and alignment of CMO programs with the Philippine Army’s broader operational priorities, as well as IMCOM’s core thrusts in Base Service Support Operations (BSSO) and Real Estate Management (REM). It served as a vital mechanism to ensure that every initiative remains relevant, responsive, and fully integrated into the command’s mandate of managing, securing, and sustaining military installations nationwide.
Key highlights of the activity included the presentation of the IMCOM Strategic Communication Plan and updates on current CMO policies, alongside directives for the sustained implementation of Morale, Welfare, Recreational Facilities, and Business-like Instrumentalities (MWRFOBI) across all Installation Management Battalions. CMO Officers also presented their respective accomplishments, showcasing efforts that support land tenure security and camp improvement projects, while sharing vlog entries, operational challenges, and best practices in coordination and resource management.
By emphasizing the role of CMO in support of BSSO and REM, the activity reinforced the link between community relations and mission success. It highlighted coordination and communication as vital tools for better services. Through this review, IMCOM strengthens operational efficiency, ensuring protected reservations, maintained facilities, and improved personnel welfare.
