On June 10, 2026, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Nueva Ecija, in partnership with SM Megacenter Cabanatuan, successfully conducted a Business Continuity Planning (BCP) Seminar-Workshop for mall tenants and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
The activity provided participants with practical knowledge and strategies to prepare for, respond to, and recover from business disruptions brought about by disasters, emergencies, and other unforeseen events. Through engaging discussions and workshop sessions, participants were guided in developing Business Continuity Plans that can help safeguard their businesses and ensure operational continuity.
Trade Industry Development Analyst (TIDA) Kanary Luth P. Velasquez of Negosyo Center Cabiao served as the resource speaker, sharing valuable insights on the importance of business preparedness and continuity planning to help MSMEs remain resilient in the face of challenges.
DTI Nueva Ecija remains steadfast in its commitment to empowering MSMEs through capacity-building initiatives that promote resilience, sustainability, and long-term business growth.
