SANTA ROSA MPS OBSERVES INTERNATIONAL HUMANITARIAN LAW DAY, REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO PROTECT HUMAN DIGNITY
SANTA ROSA MUNICIPAL POLICE STATION, Santa Rosa, Nueva Ecija β Santa RosaMunicipal Police Station joined the Philippine National Police in the observance of International Humanitarian Law (IHL) Day on August 10, 2026, with the theme, βPinalakas na Ugnayan at Pagkakaisa sa Pagsulong ng IHL,β during the traditional Monday Flag Raising Ceremony.
The activity was conducted following the accounting and formation of Santa Rosa MPS personnel, where police officers were reminded of their responsibilities in upholding the principles of International Humanitarian Law and respecting human rights in the performance of their duties.
As part of the observance, Santa Rosa MPS personnel participated in the reading of the PNP Law Enforcerβs Pledge of Reaffirmation of Commitment and Support for International Humanitarian Law. IHL-themed materials were also displayed within the station to promote awareness and understanding of the principles of humanitarian law.
The activity underscores San Leonardo MPSβs commitment to uphold human dignity, respect human rights, and adhere to the principles of International Humanitarian Law, while strengthening unity and cooperation in promoting peace, security, and the rule of law.
