Regular practice of rescue drags and carries is essential for firefighters because it develops the skills and physical ability needed to safely rescue victims and fellow responders during emergencies.

Continuous practice ensures firefighters remain physically and mentally prepared to respond effectively to a wide range of rescue emergencies at any time.

LOOK || On 03 September 2026, personnel of Quezon Fire Station, under the supervision of SFO4 Joseph A Cabacungan, Officer-In-Charge, actively participated in the Nationwide Simultaneous School Safety Drill for Active Attack Incidents conducted at Darubba Elementary School and Dippog National High School.

The activity was conducted to promote a safe, secure, and resilient learning environment and to strengthen the preparedness and response capabilities of schools and communities in the event of active attack incidents and other emergencies.

Through continuous coordination, preparedness, and vigilance, we can help create schools where learners, teachers, and personnel feel safe and protected.

๐ŸŒŠ After a flood, do not immediately enter or use electricity. Floodwater can damage electrical systems and create serious fire hazards.

โœ… Turn off the main power supply if it is safe to do so. Never touch electrical switches or equipment while standing in water.

โšก Have electrical wiring, outlets, circuit breakers, and appliances inspected by a qualified electrician before using them.

๐Ÿ”ฅ Check LPG tanks, hoses, and regulators for damage or leaks. If you smell gas, do not light a flame or operate electrical switches. Leave the area immediately.

๐Ÿ•ฏ๏ธ Avoid candles and open flames if there is any possibility of a gas leak. Use a flashlight instead.

๐Ÿ”Œ Do not use appliances that have been wet or submerged in floodwater. Have them inspected or replaced.
