Ang Extension and Training Services ng College of Arts and Sciences NVSU-Bambang Campus (CAS), kasama ang mga kinatawan mula sa iba’t ibang departamento ng BSCOOP, BSBIO, BAEL, BSPA, at kabilang ang SOCIAL SCIENCE ay nagsagawa ng Training Needs Assessment (TNA) sa Barangay Pallas, Bambang, Nueva Vizcaya, isa sa mga Indigenous Peoples (IP) community ng Bambang.

Layunin ng aktibidad na mapakinggan ang boses ng komunidad, matukoy ang kanilang mga pangangailangan, at malaman ang mga angkop na training at extension programs na maaaring maibahagi ng CAS sa hinaharap.

Sa pamamagitan ng pakikipag-ugnayan at pakikinig sa komunidad, patuloy na isinasabuhay ng CAS ang commitment nito sa responsive, inclusive, at community-centered extension service.

𝐆𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐓 𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐒! The Call for Abstracts for the 4th International Multidisciplinary Research-Based Extension Conference (IMREC) 2026 has been 𝗘𝗫𝗧𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗗!

To accommodate more participants and provide researchers and extension practitioners additional time to share their work, the deadline for abstract submissions has been extended until July 31, 2026.

Hosted by Davao de Oro State College in Davao City, the Durian Capital of the Philippines, IMREC 2026 provides a dynamic platform for researchers, extension practitioners, educators, development workers, and other stakeholders to showcase research-based extension initiatives, exchange knowledge and best practices, and build meaningful collaborations.

Interested participants are invited to submit papers aligned with any of the following conference strands:
• Technical Training and Skills Development
• Educational Enhancement
• Community Development
• Health and Well-being
• Social Empowerment and Governance

After the conference sessions, participants can also look forward to a post-conference immersion activity featuring some of the hidden gems and unique destinations of Davao de Oro Province.

Earlier today, our dedicated extensionists and project leaders gathered for a meaningful consultative meeting focused on the ongoing extension and training initiatives of Bambang Campus.

Selected project leaders from the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) presented their respective outputs, highlighting accomplishments, best practices, and areas for improvement. The session served as a platform for monitoring progress, ensuring that each project continues to align with its goals and effectively serves the community.

Through open discussion and collaborative feedback, the meeting strengthened our shared commitment to excellence in extension services and sustainable community engagement.
