The Philippine College of Technology (PCT) has suspended all in-person classes at all levels and on-site work activities at its Bajada Campus effective Thursday, August 20, 2026, until further notice, following a reported security threat involving the school.
The suspension was announced Wednesday as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety and security of students, faculty, staff, and members of the school community.
According to PCT, the administration is closely coordinating with the Philippine National Police and local authorities to verify the reported threat and assess the security situation on campus.
Students, personnel, and other members of the community have been advised not to proceed to the Bajada Campus while the suspension remains in effect.
The school also urged the public to remain calm, avoid spreading unverified information, and refrain from circulating screenshots or other materials related to the reported threat while authorities conduct their verification and assessment.
Further announcements on the resumption of classes and on-site work will be released through PCT's official communication channels.
