𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | 𝗢𝗻 𝟮𝟳 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗢𝗽𝗼𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀’ 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗽𝘀 (𝗥𝗢𝗧𝗖) 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝟱𝘁𝗵 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗢𝗖𝗖 𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗼𝗺.

The activity commenced at 0600H with the arrival of the Advance Officers, followed by the Basic Cadets at 0630H. At 0700H, attendance was checked, followed by drills and ceremonies from 0710H to 0800H. The Training Staff and cadets then proceeded to the second floor conference room for the scheduled lecture.

At 0810H, MSg Jose Christopher C Sagon (Inf) PA delivered a lecture on Rule of Law, emphasizing the importance of observing laws, regulations, rights, responsibilities, and discipline. The lecture concluded at 1000H, At 1010H, Afterward Guest Instructor MSg Jose Christoper C Sagon (inf) PA Sergeant Major Of 10rcdg conducted a Talk to Troops at the AVR Room, proper implementing of program of instructions for ROTC and the Republic act 9163. The discussion concluded at 1055H. The Training Staff and ROTC Cadets then returned to the field for the continuation of drills and ceremonies. Time outs were conducted from 1100H to 1110H, followed by the continuation of drills and ceremonies until 1140H. The Basic Cadets were subsequently prepared for final formation and dismissal, officially concluding the training activity at 1200H.

The lecture concluded at 0850H. At 0915H, Cpl Glorel Ian T Janobas PA (Res) conducted a lecture on Drills and Ceremonies, followed by a practical exercise where the cadets actively participated under the supervision of the Training Staff. The activity concluded with time out attendance through ROTCMIS at 1150H. The Basic Cadets were subsequently dismissed, officially concluding the training activity at 1200H.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | On 13 September 2026, the Opol Community College Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) Unit conducted its 3rd Training Day at the OCC 2nd Floor Conference Room.

The Opol Community College ROTC Unit successfully conducted its scheduled training activity, commencing at 0600H with the arrival of the Advance Officers. At approximately 0700H, the Basic Cadets and Cadettes arrived and proceeded with attendance checking, followed by Basic Stationary Drills and military courtesy.

At approximately 0806H, the instructional phase formally commenced with Cpl Lord Jeric Bernales PA (Res) facilitating a discussion on Cyber Security Awareness, emphasizing the importance of responsible digital practices and cybersecurity awareness. Thereafter, at 0915H, Sgt Althea Diango PA (Res) continued the instructional session with a discussion on Core Values, highlighting the importance of integrity, discipline, and commitment in shaping responsible and effective future leaders. Following this, at 1012H, Sgt Kim Shaina Yana PA (Res) presented Values Development, focusing on character formation, ethical conduct, personal responsibility, and the development of leadership grounded in strong values.

At 1110H, LTC EDUARDO ABAÑO JR PA (RES), Assistant Commandant, introduced himself and delivered his message. He shared insights from his ROTC experience, highlighting the differences between past and present ROTC while emphasizing the importance of discipline, personal growth, and leadership.

The successful conduct of the activity was made possible through the leadership and guidance of LTC Anshary U. Pumbaya INF (GSC) PA, Mr. Kieth Lou F. Baculio, Mr. Remart C. Salon, Sgt Don Mark R. Olarte (Inf) PA, the GMA, Training Staff, and the 1CL and 2CL Cadet Officers, led by C/LTC Neil S Sabellina, Corps Commander. One Unit. One Standard. One Mission. Discipline builds character. Activities began at 0600H with arrival of Advance Officers, followed by assembly of Basic Cadets and Cadettes at 0700H at Public Plaza for attendance checking, basic drills and ceremonies, and proper military bearing.

At 0830H, battalion proceeded to 2nd Floor Conference Room for scheduled lectures. 𝗣𝘃𝘁 𝗞𝘆𝗹𝗮 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝗲 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝘃𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗼𝗻 𝗥𝗘𝗦 (𝗣𝗔) delivered 𝗛𝘆𝗴𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 lecture from 0845H to 0915H, followed by 𝗦𝗴𝘁 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗟 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗼𝗯𝗮𝘆, who delivered 𝗖𝗼𝗱𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 lecture from 0920H to 1055H. Final lecture, 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗮 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗿, was delivered by 𝗧𝗦𝗴 𝗥𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗹 𝗕 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗵𝗮𝘁, 𝗣𝗔 (𝗥𝗲𝘀) at approximately 1155H.

At 1200H, training activities concluded with dismissal of all cadets and cadettes. The successful ex*****on of this 2nd training day was made possible through the leadership of LTC ANSHARY U PUMBAYA INF (GSC) PA, NSTP Director Mr. Kieth Lou Baculio, ROTC Coordinator Mr. Remark C. Salon, and Sgt Don Mark R Olarte (Inf) PA, along with the dedicated support of the GMA Training Staff and 1CL and 2CL Cadet Officers.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | CIVIC MILITARY PARADE | 𝟬𝟰 𝗦𝗘𝗣𝗧𝗘𝗠𝗕𝗘𝗥 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

In celebration of the 5th Kabaya Festival and 76th Founding Anniversary of the Municipality of Opol. The ROTC Advance Officers of Opol Community College participated in the Civic Military Parade from Taboc, Opol to Opol Plaza on 04 September 2026.

The activity showcased the discipline, unity, professionalism, and military bearing of the ROTC Advance Officers as they proudly marched in support of the community. Their participation reflects the OCC ROTC Unit’s commitment to service, patriotism, and community involvement.
