29 AUGUST 2026 | 10TH TRAINING DAY OF THE ICST ROTC UNIT
Despite the rainy weather, the ICST ROTC Unit continued its 10th Training Day with determination, discipline, and commitment. The training was successfully conducted inside the ICST Lee Tan Gym, allowing the cadets to continue their activities despite the unfavorable weather conditions.
From 0900H to 1030H, the cadets took their examination, putting their knowledge and lessons from the previous training days to the test. The examination challenged the cadets to recall what they had learned and demonstrate their understanding of the principles, commands, and proper procedures discussed during their training.
After the examination, from 1100H to 1200H, the cadets proceeded with the practice of Basic Facing Movements. Through repeated drills and proper ex*****on of commands, the cadets continued to improve their coordination, alertness, discipline, posture, and responsiveness. The activity also strengthened their teamwork as they learned to move and respond as one unit.
Even with the rain outside, the cadets remained focused and committed to completing their training. The change of venue to the ICST Lee Tan Gym did not stop them from learning and improving. Instead, it showed their willingness to adapt and continue performing their responsibilities as ROTC cadets.
The activity was once again led and supervised by Cpl Ronaldo D Timog PA (Inf), Sgt Jimboy Almarez PA (Res), Pvt Maria Necol Danica Ann Rose I Lolong PA (Res), Pvt Kiechel Christopher M Hernandez PA (Res), and C/LTC JOHN ZEUS G SELLES 1CL Corps Commander of the ICST ROTC UNIT.
The 10th Training Day served as another reminder that training does not stop because of challenges. Whether under the sun or during the rain, the cadets continue to develop discipline, teamwork, perseverance, and dedication—one command and one movement at a time.
Rain or shine, the mission continues. Discipline remains, and the training goes on.
