The meeting, held at the DILG Conference Room of the Good Governance Building, was attended by representatives from the Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), Philippine Ports Authority (PPA), Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), and other partner agencies. The gathering provided an opportunity for participating offices to exchange updates, discuss operational concerns, and strengthen collaborative efforts in maintaining peace, public safety, and security in Ormoc City.

As part of the committee's quarterly mandate, member agencies presented highlights of their ๐ญ๐ก๐ข๐ซ๐-๐ช๐ฎ๐š๐ซ๐ญ๐ž๐ซ ๐š๐œ๐œ๐จ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐ข๐ฌ๐ก๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ฌ, assessed ongoing programs and initiatives, and identified areas requiring closer coordination. The discussions also focused on harmonizing agency inputs and recommendations in preparation for the forthcoming ๐‚๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐๐ž๐š๐œ๐ž ๐š๐ง๐ ๐Ž๐ซ๐๐ž๐ซ ๐‚๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐œ๐ข๐ฅ (๐‚๐๐Ž๐‚) meeting.

Through the continued conduct of the CMCC meetings, DILG Ormoc City strengthens institutional partnerships and reinforces a whole-of-government approach to governance. By working together, member agencies remain committed to advancing programs that uphold peace and order, enhance public safety, and support the overall development of Ormoc City.

The DILG Ormoc City Field Office successfully conducted an Orientation on the PCW-DILG-DBM-NEDA Joint Memorandum Circular No. 2024-01 for the Gender and Development (GAD) Technical Working Group on July 8, 2026, at SP Lobby 2, New Ormoc City Hall.

Facilitated by ๐‹๐†๐Ž๐Ž ๐ˆ๐• ๐‰๐จ๐ง๐š ๐‰๐š๐ง๐ž ๐ˆ. ๐‹๐จ๐ฉ๐ž๐ง๐š, the orientation emphasized the key provisions of the Joint Memorandum Circular and reinforced the vital role of local government offices in advancing the localization of the Magna Carta of Women through gender-responsive governance.

With the active participation of the GAD Technical Working Group and representatives from various local government offices, the activity reaffirmed Ormoc City's shared commitment to promoting gender equality and fostering inclusive, responsive, and sustainable local governance.

ORMOC CITY โ€“ The Ormoc City Police Office (OCPO) officially launched the 31st Police-Community Relations (PCR) Month on July 6, 2026. The opening program, led by PCOL Abraham D. Abayari, Officer-in-Charge of the OCPO, brought together government agencies, local stakeholders, and community partners in support of this year's theme, "Sa Bagong Pilipinas, Ugnayang Pulis at Mamamayan: Tapat, Maaasahan, at Nararamdaman ng Bayan," reaffirming the OCPO's commitment to stronger police-community partnerships for peace and public safety.

Serving as the Guest of Honor and Speaker, ๐€๐ญ๐ญ๐ฒ. ๐‘๐š๐Ÿ๐ฎ๐ง๐ณ๐ž๐ฅ ๐’. ๐๐ž๐ซ๐จ, ๐‚๐‹๐†๐Ž๐Ž ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ƒ๐ˆ๐‹๐†-๐Ž๐ซ๐ฆ๐จ๐œ, emphasized that peace and public safety are founded on trust, collaboration, and active citizen participation.
