As an active organization affiliated with the Philippine Amateur Radio Association (PARA), we work hand in hand with local government units, emergency responders, civic organizations, and community partners to ensure that communication remains available when it is needed most.

Provides backup communication when cellular networks, internet services, or other communication systems fail.

Supports incident commanders by relaying accurate and timely information between response teams.

On behalf of ALARM Guardians Inc. Ormoc City Sub-Chapter, we’d like to greet a BELATED HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY to one of our own — a member who literally reached for the stars and captured them 🌌

He captured the ISS – International Space Station as it passed on orbit right here over the Philippines. From Ormoc City ground to 408km above Earth, that’s dedication + skill + passion for radio and space.

While most of us track weather and traffic, you tracked a city-sized spacecraft moving at 27,600 km/hr. That photo/proof is proof that Guardians don’t just serve the community — we also watch over the skies.

You inspire us to keep looking up, keep learning, and keep pushing what’s possible with radio, tech, and curiosity.

May your year be filled with more clear signals, rare captures, good health, and blessings. From ground team to space team — we’re proud of you, bro!

This Father’s Day, we tuned in to honor the real-life heroes.

On June 21, 2026, 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM, ALARM Guardians Inc. Ormoc City Sub-Chapter conducted a special Netcall edition as our tribute to all fathers, tatay, daddy, and father figures.

Because real heroes don’t wear capes — they wear duty, sacrifice, and love. Whether you’re a responder, a volunteer, a provider, or a guardian at home, this netcall was for you.

Special thanks to the following stations who supports the evening net. Your check-ins, greetings, and messages made this tribute louder and stronger. From 10-4 to 73, every transmission was a salute to fatherhood and service.

Through the airwaves, we shared stories, appreciation, and a moment of unity. One frequency, one family, one salute to all fathers who serve and protect — on the streets and at home.

On this day, ALARM Guardians Inc. Ormoc City Sub-Chapter stood with our community.

Together with other organizations, we supported TABANG ORMOCANON for the families affected by the fire incident at Barangay Naungan, Ormoc City.

From the moment the call came in, we moved. We packed. We loaded. We delivered. Relief goods were repacked by hand, loaded into vehicles, and brought straight to the families who needed them most. Every can of goods, every bottle of water, every hygiene kit — distributed door to door, face to face.

Because relief isn’t just about giving things. It’s about showing up. Listening. Reminding them: "Dili mo nag-inusara. Naa mi."

We are deeply grateful for the privilege to serve. Grateful to our fellow organizations who linked arms with us. Grateful to donors whose generosity became hope. And grateful to the families of Brgy. Naungan for their strength and trust even in the hardest season.

A fire took homes, but it couldn’t take the spirit of Ormoc. Today, we saw bayanihan alive and breathing.
