The visits focused on informing and coordinating the new commitment arrangement for PDLs from the respective municipalities to the BJMP Oroquieta City Jail, ensuring its smooth and orderly implementation.

The City Jail Warden also expressed appreciation to the City Government of Oroquieta for its continued support and cooperation in matters concerning the proper management and welfare of PDLs.

Sa pangunguna ni JSINSP GENER D GALAMBAO, Matagumpay ang naging Pangwakas na Palatuntunan ng Pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika 2026. Sa ilalim ng temang โ€œWikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon,โ€ ipinagdiwang ang makabuluhang okasyon sa pamamagitan ng serye ng mga kultural na pagtatanghal gaya ng tula, sabayang pagbigkas, kanta, at mga katutubong sayaw mula sa iba't ibang dorm ng mga Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL).

Nagtapos ang programa sa isang masiglang โ€œSayaw ng Pagkakaisaโ€“Pinoy Ako, Pinoy Tayo,โ€ kung saan ang mga PDL at mga tauhan ng piitan ay nagkaisang sumayaw bilang simbolo ng solidaridad, pagdamayan, at pambansang pagmamalaki.

Higit sa lahat, muling pinatunayan ng pagtitipong ito ang patuloy na kahalagahan at lapat na kaugnayan ng wikang Filipino sa makabagong panahon ng teknolohiya at digitalisasyon.

Sa pangunguna ni JSINSP GENER D GALAMBAO, Acting City Jail Warden, nagsagawa ang Oroquieta City Jail ng Tree Maintenance and Protection Activity sa Barangay Bunga, Oroquieta City. Kabilang sa isinagawang aktibidad ang pagbubunot ng mga damo at paglilinis sa paligid ng mga itinanim na puno upang mapanatili ang kanilang maayos at malusog na paglaki.

Today, Oroquieta City Jail, under the leadership of JSINSP GENER D GALAMBAO, Acting City Jail Warden, in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), conducted the 3rd Quarter Greyhound Operation as part of its continuing efforts to maintain safety and security within the facility. The operation included a thorough inspection of the PDL quarters and other designated areas.

The inspection was conducted systematically to identify any illegal drugs, contraband, or prohibited items that may compromise the security of the facility. No contraband or prohibited items were found during the operation, reflecting the collective commitment of the jail personnel and partner agencies to maintaining a safe, secure, and drug-free jail environment.
