Awarding Ceremony of JHCSC-Dumingag Campus ROTC Unit

COL IAN NOEL P. IGNES MNSA (INF) PA graced the Awarding Ceremony for the ROTC Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection CY 2025–2026 of the JH Cerilles State College (JHCSC)-Dumingag Campus ROTC Unit as Guest of Honor and Speaker, together with COL LINO L. ARAYA JR. ART (GSC) PA, Director of the 901st Community Defense Center, 9th Regional Community Defense Group, Reserve Command, Philippine Army. The ceremony was held on 17 August 2026 at Brgy. Caridad, Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur.

The ceremony recognized deserving cadets and personnel for their exemplary performance, dedication, and commitment to the ROTC program. It also highlighted the importance of discipline, leadership, excellence, and patriotism in developing responsible and capable future leaders.

The JHCSC-Dumingag Campus ROTC Unit remains committed to fostering a culture of excellence, discipline, and service, inspiring every cadet to uphold the values of leadership, responsibility, and patriotism in service to the nation.

JHCSC–Dumingag ROTC Unit Supports 10th RESCOM, PA-wide Blood Donation Activity

In line with the celebration of the 43rd Founding Anniversary of the Reserve Command, Philippine Army (RESCOM, PA), the JH Cerilles State College–Dumingag Campus ROTC Unit actively participated in the Simultaneous 10th RESCOM, PA-wide Blood Donation Activity held on 15 August 2026 at the JHCSC–Dumingag Campus Function Hall, Barangay Caridad, Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur.

The life-saving activity was graced by HON. JOSEPH KIM C. YU, Congressman, 1st District, Zamboanga del Sur, and HON. GERRY T. PAGLINAWAN, Municipal Mayor of Dumingag, who shared inspirational messages and expressed their strong support for the blood donation drive.

The activity underscored the spirit of volunteerism, bayanihan, and community service, inspiring more individuals to become voluntary blood donors and contribute to saving lives. Every donation represents hope and can make a meaningful difference to someone in need.

Through initiatives like this, the JHCSC–Dumingag Campus ROTC Unit remains committed to the ideals of service, patriotism, and selflessness.

𝘼𝙏𝙏𝙀𝙉𝙏𝙄𝙊𝙉‼

In celebration of the 43rd Founding Anniversary of the Reserve Command, Philippine Army (RESCOM, PA), a Simultaneous RESCOM, PA-Wide Blood Donation Activity will be conducted at the Josefina H. Cerilles State College – Dumingag Campus on 15 August 2026.

This meaningful activity brings together the Reserve Command, ROTC cadets, partner organizations, and generous volunteers in a shared effort to help save lives through blood donation. 🩸❤

With the theme “Be a Hero. Donate Blood. Save Lives.”, this activity highlights the values of service, compassion, unity, and patriotism. Every blood donation can provide hope and help to patients who are in need.

We encourage all concerned ROTC cadets to actively participate and support this humanitarian activity. Let us show that being a cadet is not only about discipline and duty, but also about serving and helping others. 🇵🇭❤

All blood donors will receive rice as an incentive but need to provide a photocopy of a valid ID with three specimen signatures.

ROTC SY 2026–2027 OFFICIALLY OPENS AT JH CERILLES STATE COLLEGE – DUMINGAG CAMPUS

DUMINGAG, Zamboanga del Sur | 08 August 2026 — The Opening Ceremony of the Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) for School Year 2026–2027 of the JH Cerilles State College – Dumingag Campus ROTC Unit was successfully conducted at the Multi-purpose Hall of JH Cerilles State College – Dumingag Campus, Barangay Caridad, Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur.

The activity was graced by HON. EDGARDO G. JAMERO, Municipal Vice Mayor of Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur, as the Guest of Honor and Speaker. In his message, Hon. Jamero emphasized the importance of discipline, leadership, patriotism, and service among the youth, inspiring the cadets to become responsible citizens and future leaders of the nation.
The opening ceremony was followed by an Orientation for the cadets, providing them with a better understanding of the ROTC program, its mission and objectives, policies, and the responsibilities expected of every member of the Corps of Cadets.

Likewise, the Physical Organization of the Corps of Cadets was conducted, formally establishing the structure, leadership, and organization of the JHCSC–Dumingag Campus ROTC Unit for SY 2026–2027.

The successful conduct of the activity marks the beginning of another year of discipline, leadership development, patriotism, and service—values that remain at the heart of the ROTC program.

The JHCSC Dumingag ROTC Unit will conduct its First Training Day and Orientation on 08 August 2026. All newly enrolled cadets are advised to arrive on time and strictly comply with the prescribed proper bearing, required documents, and other guidelines indicated in this announcement.

Discipline begins with preparation. Be punctual, wear the proper attire, and come fully prepared as we take the first step toward developing responsible, disciplined, and service-oriented citizen-soldiers. We look forward to welcoming all aspiring cadets. 🇵🇭
