Alam Mo Ba ang Business Name Registration para sa Franchise?

​Kung mag-ooperate ng isang franchise business, mahalagang malaman ang tamang proseso ng Business Name (BN) Registration upang masiguro ang pagsunod sa mga alituntunin ng DTI.

​✔ Kailangan ba ng BN Registration ang Franchise?
Depende ito sa franchise agreement at sa pangalan ng negosyong gagamitin.

​✔ Kung Gagamitin ang Franchise Brand Name
Hindi na kailangang magparehistro ng business name na eksaktong kapareho ng rehistradong trademark o franchise brand name ng franchisor. Gayunpaman, maaaring kailanganin ang kaukulang dokumento o pahintulot mula sa franchisor bilang patunay ng karapatang gamitin ang brand.

​✔ Kung Magdadagdag ng Proprietary Name
Kung ang franchisee ay gagamit ng sariling proprietary name kasama ng franchise brand name, ang proprietary name ay kailangang mairehistro sa DTI.

​💡 Tandaan:
Ang Business Name Registration ay hindi kapalit ng franchise agreement o pahintulot mula sa franchisor.

Siguraduhing mayroon kayong wastong
authorization bago gamitin ang franchise brand name sa inyong negosyo.

STIDS Iris Judith B. Guatno, DTI Zamboanga del Sur Fish Industry Focal Person, facilitated the Business Continuity Planning (BCP) session organized by the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR), held in Sominot, Zamboanga del Sur.

The activity was attended by thirty-seven (37) members of the Sominot Backyard Upland Fish Farmers Association and aimed to enhance their preparedness, resilience, and capacity to sustain their livelihoods during disruptions and emergencies.

DTI-ZDS, as the Secretariat of the Abaca Industry Cluster TWG, facilitated the 2026 Provincial Stakeholders' Consultative Session with partner agencies, LGUs, and farmer associations.

The session served as a venue to discuss the current state of the abaca industry, identify key issues across the value chain, validate priority interventions, and update the industry's action plan. Representatives from TESDA, PHILFIDA, DOST, LBP, DOLE, DAR, and LGUs from Tigbao, Josefina, Sominot, Kumalarang, and Pagadian City, as well as farmer associations from Aurora, Dinas, Sominot, Lakewood, and Tigbao, actively participated in the consultation.

Through collaboration and shared commitment, stakeholders strengthened strategies to support a more sustainable, competitive, and resilient abaca industry in Zamboanga del Sur.
