Pursuant to Admin. Circ. No. 32-2020 of CJ Peralta, ALL COURTS NATIONWIDE are PHYSICALLY CLOSED (effective March 23, 2020). Thus, ALL COURTS may be reached only through their HOTLINES, EMAIL ADDRESSES and FACEBOOK ACCOUNTS, if available (thus they cannot be reached by court users by physically going to the courts, except to perhaps get the hotline numbers, etc. that may be posted at the HoJs).

If an URGENT MATTER has been raised through the hotlines, etc. and determined to be so as such by the JOD and/or clerk of court/OIC, only then will the JOD and the skeleton-staff PHYSICALLY GO to the court to act on the said matter/s. Thus, the JOD and/or their skeleton-staff should STAY AT HOME at all times during this quarantine period and can go to court only once it has been determined that an URGENT MATTER must be acted upon.

Finally, OTHER URGENT MATTERS, not coursed thru the hotlines, etc., and determined only as such by the Judges to whom the related cases have been raffled to and/or now pending, NEED NOT BE ACTED UPON by the Judges (whether on-duty or not) to AVOID unnecessarily going to the courts at this time that these are PHYSICALLY CLOSED.

Incidentally, if a hearing is required and the urgent matter cannot be resolved in one day, or if the parties cannot be present, it is best to cancel the hearing so that the JOD and skeleton-staff need not go to court as well.
