𝗔𝗧𝗠 || 𝙋𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙗𝙤 𝙎𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝 1 𝘿𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙩 𝙅𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙢 𝙀𝙣𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜

Young campus journalists from schools across Panabo South 1 District are sharpening their skills and strengthening their voices through the Journalism Enhancement Training being held at Lorenzo T. Concepcion Integrated School.

The activity brings together budding journalists, school paper advisers, and school heads in a collaborative learning environment focused on strengthening competencies in news writing, feature writing, editorial writing, and other essential areas of campus journalism.

Leading the district-wide initiative are District Supervisors Maria Nenita G. Tuazon and Julius I. Suelto, in coordination with Division Journalism Supervisors Peter A. Mijares and Maria Perpetua Angelita G. Suelto.

More than honing writing skills, the training seeks to empower young journalists to become accurate, responsible, ethical, and purposeful storytellers who can give voice to the experiences and aspirations of their school communities.

Through sustained training, mentorship, and collaboration, Panabo South 1 District continues to nurture the next generation of campus journalists—ready to write with truth, integrity, and purpose.

𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗡𝗢𝗪 || 𝙎𝙏𝙀𝙈𝙖𝙯𝙞𝙣𝙜: 𝙒𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙜 𝙈𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙨 𝙎𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙚 𝙏𝙤𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙧𝙤𝙬

Curiosity meets creativity as young science and mathematics enthusiasts converge at Salvacion Elementary School for 𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗠𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴, the Division Festival of Talents in Science and Mathematics, anchored on the theme, “𝘿𝙞𝙨𝙘𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧. 𝙄𝙣𝙣𝙤𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙚. 𝙎𝙤𝙡𝙫𝙚. 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢. 𝘼 𝙎𝙏𝙀𝙈 𝙅𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙚𝙮 𝙩𝙤 𝙖 𝘽𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙏𝙤𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙧𝙤𝙬.”

Spearheaded by Education Program Supervisors Ylcy B. Manguilimotan and Carolyn M. Arado, the festival brings together promising young talents in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), along with their dedicated teacher-coaches, in a vibrant showcase of knowledge, ingenuity, and problem-solving.

Curriculum Chief Janwario E. Yamota graced the event, underscoring the Division’s commitment to nurturing learners who are critical thinkers, innovators, and future-ready problem-solvers.

More than a competition, STEMazing is a launchpad for ideas—giving learners the opportunity to explore possibilities, tackle challenges, and turn concepts into solutions.

With curiosity as their compass and innovation as their tool, these young trailblazers are proving that the journey toward a better tomorrow begins with the courage to discover, the creativity to innovate, and the determination to solve and transform.

𝗬𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗗𝗔𝗬 || A new chapter of service and leadership unfolds at 𝙇𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙡𝙚 𝙋𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙮 𝙉𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙃𝙞𝙜𝙝 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 as 𝗞𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺𝗶𝗲 𝗛. 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗻 assumes her role as 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹.

The Installation Ceremony, presided over by ASDS Basilio P. Mana-ay Jr., CESO VI, brought together CID supervisors, school leaders, community representatives, teachers, and student leaders** in welcoming this new leadership responsibility.

Led by Jennith Marie L. Jorolan, Principal I, the school community looks forward to Krismie’s meaningful contributions toward stronger collaboration, responsive leadership, and better opportunities for every learner.

𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗜𝗡 || 𝙋𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙗𝙤 𝘾𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙉𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙃𝙞𝙜𝙝 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 (𝙋𝘾𝙉𝙃𝙎) marked a significant milestone through its 𝗧𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆, celebrating the assumption of 𝗝𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘆𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝗔. 𝗕𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗮 as the new 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹, succeeding Maria Fe T. Balatero, who now embarks on a new journey as Principal I of Desiderio F. Dalisay Sr. National High School.

The ceremony was led by Schools Division Superintendent Jinky B. Firman, CESO V, who extended her warmest congratulations and words of encouragement to both education leaders as they embrace their new responsibilities in service of quality education.

Bontifola will work alongside the fondly called “International Principal” Manuel M. Esperanza, ushering in another promising era of leadership, collaboration, and excellence in the city’s pillar school—PCNHS.

Witnessed by division supervisors, secondary school heads, teachers, student leaders, PTA officers and teaching-related personnel, the event stood as a testament to the unity and shared commitment of the educational community. Their presence added meaning to this momentous occasion, highlighting the collective support behind every leadership transition.

The installation was led by Schools Division Superintendent Jinky B. Firman, CESO V, whose presence underscored the Division’s commitment to strengthening school leadership and ensuring responsive, effective, and service-oriented governance at the school level.

The Order was formally read by Assistant SDS Basilio P. Mana-ay Jr., CESO VI, who likewise conveyed his warm greetings and best wishes to Ms. Verzano as she assumes her new responsibility.

Welcoming her with pride and enthusiasm was her AOFES family, led by Cyrus A. Cachuela, Principal I, whose support reflects the school's culture of teamwork, trust, and shared commitment to quality public service.

The ceremony was also witnessed by Public Schools District Supervisors Reynaldo C. Deocampo Jr. and Marlou P. De Asis, marking a meaningful milestone in Ms. Verzano's professional journey that will further strengthen the leadership and service of AOFES.

Yamota, who read the Division Order duly signed by Schools Division Superintendent Jinky B. Firman, CESO V.

In his new designation, Mr. Infiesto will provide administrative and leadership support to Glenn A. Patriarca, Principal II, in advancing the school's programs, projects, and initiatives.

The significant event was witnessed by district supervisors, school leaders, barangay officials, PTA representatives, teachers, and members of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP), reflecting the collective support and confidence of the community as he joins the school's leadership team in fostering excellence and quality education for all learners.

As he assumes his new role, Mr. Labrador will work closely under the guidance and mentorship of Principal I Edarlina C. Bitang, whose leadership continues to inspire innovation, collaboration, and quality education at DMAJMNHS.

The occasion marked not only the formal assumption of duty of Mr. Labrador but also the collective support of the school and community in advancing the institution's mission of delivering excellent educational services.
