A total of 616 learners from the Alternative Learning System (ALS) Elementary and Junior High School programs Batch 2025 proudly celebrated their Moving-Up Ceremonies, marking a significant milestone in the continuing success of alternative education in DepEd Panabo City.

Serving as guest speaker, Marivic B. Valiente inspired the completers with a message centered on vision, resiliency, determination, and perseverance as essential qualities for achieving success despite challenges, emphasizing that education remains a powerful pathway toward personal growth and a brighter future.
Division Superintendent Jinky B. Firman, CESO VI conveyed her profound appreciation to the Local Government Unit of Panabo City, under the leadership of Hon. Mayor Jose E. Relampagos, for its unwavering support to the Alternative Learning System, particularly its generous provision of the venue, LED wall, sound system, and refreshments for the completers, underscoring the local government's enduring commitment to advancing inclusive, accessible, and quality education for all.
The ceremony was attended by key education leaders and stakeholders, including Curriculum Chief Janwario E. Yamota, Division ALS Focal Jaime C. Carlom, Public Schools District Supervisor Marlou P. De Asis, ALS specialists, teachers, and community implementers. Joining them were representatives from the local government with Executive Secretary Jo-anne Relampagos-Capuyan, City Councilor and Education Committee Chair JM Relampagos, and Hon. Michael John Badal on behalf of Congressman JM Lagdameo, alongside partners from Davao del Norte State College (DNSC), Panabo Multi-Purpose Cooperative (PMPC), Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), and barangay captains across Panabo City.
The ceremony served as a testament to the transformative power of ALS, opening doors for learners to complete basic education and pursue greater opportunities while demonstrating that success is attainable through dedication, resilience, and lifelong learning.
