In anticipation of possible damages that may be caused by Typhoon “Uwan,” the Central Pangasinan Electric Cooperative (CENPELCO) has activated its Task Force Typhoon Uwan.

This means that CENPELCO line crews have been strategically deployed throughout our entire coverage area. Rest assured that CENPELCO is closely monitoring the developments of Typhoon Uwan and remains on 24/7 standby to ensure the reliability of power supply within our service areas.

We seek the understanding and cooperation of our member-consumer-owners as power interruptions may be implemented as a safety measure, especially when significant damage to our power lines is observed. Restoration activities will immediately commence once weather conditions are declared safe for our linemen to operate.

We also call on our Barangay Councils and Local Community Officials to assist in the Clearing vegetation and loose branches near power line corridors and removing light materials and debris that may be blown by strong winds.

These early clearing efforts will significantly help reduce line damage and shorten restoration time after the storm. However, we strongly remind everyone to observe safety precautions at all times while performing clearing activities.

In case of emergencies, the CENPELCO page will remain open 24/7 to receive reports for prompt action.
