The Municipal Government of Paoay announces the Screening Schedule for Batch 4 of the SIRIB KEN ADAL GUN-ODEN Municipal Comprehensive Scholarship Program, scheduled on August 31, 2026 (Monday) at the Paoay Municipal Hall.

Applicants are reminded that the screening will be conducted in two batches:

MORNING BATCH
8:00 AM – 12:00 NN

AFTERNOON BATCH
1:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Important: Applicants are advised to look for their names in the official list and carefully check their assigned batch and schedule. Please make sure to report at the designated time.

For those included in Batch 4, please be guided accordingly and come prepared with the necessary requirements.

The Municipal Government of Paoay successfully conducted the Batch 2 and Batch 3 Screening of applicants for the Sirib ken Adal Gun-oden Municipal Comprehensive Scholarship Program on August 21–22, 2026.

The screening is part of the municipality’s commitment to supporting deserving Paoayenian students by providing opportunities and assistance in pursuing their education and achieving their academic goals.

We thank all the applicants from Batch 2 and Batch 3 for their participation, cooperation, and patience throughout the screening process.

Governor Cecilia Araneta-Marcos declares the suspension of classes at all levels in both public and private schools across the Province of Ilocos Norte today, August 25, 2026, due to heavy rainfall brought by the Southwest Monsoon.

CLASS SUSPENSION

In view of the effects of the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), classes in all levels, both public and private, in the Municipality of Paoay are SUSPENDED for August 24, 2026.

This is to ensure the safety of our students, teachers, and school personnel amid the current weather conditions.

The Municipal Government of Paoay will resume its 4-Day Work Schedule starting tomorrow, August 24, 2026, in accordance with Memorandum Circular No. 114, directing all government agencies to implement energy conservation measures and flexible work arrangements.

Monday to Thursday | 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Meanwhile, the Rural Health Unit (RHU), Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (LDRRMO), and the Municipal Slaughterhouse will continue to operate under their regular working hours and schedules to ensure the uninterrupted delivery of essential public services to the community.

𝐏𝐂𝐀 𝐂𝐨𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐮𝐭 𝐒𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐃𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐚𝐨𝐚𝐲

The Municipal Government of Paoay facilitated the distribution of coconut seedlings provided by the Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) to the different barangays of the municipality.

Through the continued partnership between the PCA, the Municipal Government of Paoay, and the barangays, the municipality remains committed to bringing agricultural assistance closer to local farmers and supporting initiatives that promote a productive, sustainable, and resilient agricultural community.
