Pursuant to EO No. 13 series of 2026, implementing a Four-Day Workweek, the MLGU Paracelis informs the public that the Office of the Treasury, though not exempt from the order, will operate Monday to Thursday (8:00 AM-7:00 PM) and every Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, to serve clients due to public demand.

As per Executive Order No. 22 series of 2026, the MLGU Paracelis is pleased to announce that Market Days are now scheduled on Thursdays and Fridays, every week, at the Municipal Covered Court. This is to better support our local farmers and small business owners.

In line with the provisions of the Local Government Code regarding the situs of taxation, the Municipal Treasurer’s Office has successfully streamlined the collection of business taxes from contractors operating within our jurisdiction. By strictly enforcing the 70/30 revenue allocation rule, we have ensured that tax liabilities are accurately declared at the project site level. This strategic focus on situs-based collection has significantly optimized local revenue mobilization, ensuring that infrastructure projects contribute directly to the fiscal health of the municipality where the actual development occurs.

Displayed below are the actual business tax collections received from various contractors. We look forward to seeing increased participation and further collections in the coming weeks, ensuring that all projects contribute their fair share to our municipality’s development.
