Kahapon, pormal nang naghain ng kanyang certificate of candidacy si Mayor Cahar Ibay para sa kanyang ikatlo at huling termino. Sa kanyang pamumuno nitong mga nakaraang taon, marami na siyang naidulot na positibong pagbabago sa ating komunidad—mula sa pagpapalakas ng imprastraktura hanggang sa pagtitiyak ng kaligtasan at kapakanan ng mga mamamayan.

Si Mayor Ibay ay laging inuuna ang progreso, transparency, at tapat na paglilingkod sa bayan. Naniniwala ako sa kanyang bisyon para sa mas maliwanag na hinaharap, at buong puso kong sinusuportahan ang kanyang kandidatura. Ibrahim Ibay has a notable career in local governance, particularly within the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM). Before his current role as Deputy Minister of the Ministry of the Interior and Local Government (MILG) in BARMM, Ibay was the governor of Shariff Kabunsuan Province, a political unit that has since been dissolved. Additionally, he served as the mayor of Parang, Maguindanao, where he contributed significantly to local governance efforts. Moreover, he served as a member of the regional legislative assembly of then ARMM as an assemblyman and regional speajer

In his position as Deputy Minister of the MILG, Ibay plays a crucial role in overseeing the local government units (LGUs) within BARMM, assisting the Chief Minister in maintaining governance and security across the region. His appointment highlights his leadership and dedication to moral governance, a guiding principle for many officials in BARMM.
