BREAKING NEWS: Government Troops Clash with ICRC Remnants in Abra, Recover Fi****ms

Government troops from the 50th Infantry (Defender) Battalion and 98th Infantry (Masinag) Battalion engaged around 10 armed remnants of the Ilocos-Cordillera Regional Committee (ICRC) during pursuit operations in Barangay Bonglo, Licuan-Baay, Abra, at around 11:10 a.m. on August 4, 2026.

Initial reports confirmed the recovery of three enemy body counts, two M16 rifles, and one M14 rifle. The operation remains ongoing, with authorities validating additional details for subsequent release.
