The Health Allies and Life Leaders of Scouts for SDGs Seminar-Workshop with the
Theme: Ready for Life: The Scout's Journey to Lifelong Wellness
Sub Theme: Eat Smart, Stay Active, Strengthen Your Mind, Be Prepared
Officially ended with an inspiring gathering of Scouts, youth leaders, Scouting volunteers, and partners united by one goal—to empower young people with the knowledge, skills, and values needed to lead healthier and more purposeful lives.
This meaningful initiative was conducted in collaboration with the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Kalawaan, Barangay Kalawaan Nutrition Committee, and San Joaquin–Kalawaan High School, with the support of various Scouting and community partners.
During the opening ceremony, Sir Russel Arcangel Ison delivered a message of support on behalf of the Pasig City Youth Development Office, emphasizing the importance of youth participation and leadership in building healthier communities.
We also extend our appreciation to SK Chairperson Hannah D. Pabalan, who shared her message of support on behalf of the Sangguniang Kabataan Council, whose support and funding made this meaningful seminar-workshop possible.
John Kristoffer B. De Jesus, RND, LPT then presented the overview of the seminar-workshop and facilitated the discussion of the event's House Rules, setting the direction for an engaging, respectful, and meaningful learning experience.
We likewise extend our heartfelt appreciation to Project Director Rafaela P. Tibar for hosting and helping facilitate the successful conduct of the event. Your support and dedication contributed greatly to making this seminar-workshop meaningful and memorable for all participants.
The participants were also introduced to a distinguished lineup of resource speakers and facilitators who shared their expertise on health, nutrition, mental health, substance-abuse prevention, youth development, and Scouting:

6. Director Yasser F. Sarona, LT – Planning Workshop: Development of Scout Health and Nutrition Action Plan
We are also honored to recognize the presence and support of the Regional Program Committee, led by Scout Leader Sonny Domo-os, ALT w/CMT, whose leadership and commitment continue to strengthen Scouting programs for young people.
Our sincere gratitude goes to Institutional Scouting Coordinator Ms. Marife Tibayan and Principal Ma. Victoria M. Cuervo of San Joaquin–Kalawaan High School for graciously allowing the school to serve as the host school for this important seminar-workshop.
Special thanks as well to the Unit Leaders of Buting High School, Pinagbuhatan High School, Eusebio High School, Praxis Community-Based Scouting, and San Joaquin–Kalawaan High School for actively participating and supporting this initiative.
