Our Story

It started as a desire to raise awareness on the environmental detriments of plastic pollution and realizing our call to take care of God’s creation.

In our Ortigas Center based community, a lot of people are learning more about this global problem but in a fast-paced city where most people value convenience finding alternative products that does not contribute to the problem can be hard. Most eco-friendly products are not well-known and would often need to be sourced elsewhere (e.g. overseas and provincial areas) which means additional cost because of shipping fees.

As part of our advocacy in caring for creation, Imago Dei promotes and supplies a wide variety of products that can replace our everyday plastic/plastic packaged products.

Searching for a good but affordable bamboo toothbrush sparked the idea of this shop. We bought bamboo toothbrushes in bulk and sold it to friends whose encouragements led us to expand and become a one-stop zerowaste shop.
