The 4th Signal Battalion conducted Weekly Values Formation with the topic "Altar Life" reminding personnel of the importance of building a deeper relationship with God through faith, prayer, and wholehearted service. The session emphasized that, just as the altar in the Old Testament was a sacred place where people encountered God through worship, sacrifice, and atonement, every individual is called to live a life dedicated to God with humility, integrity, and obedience.

This activity reinforced the Battalion's commitment to developing not only professionally competent soldiers but also morally and spiritually grounded personnel who uphold the highest standards of discipline, selfless service, and character in the fulfillment of their duties.

The 4th Signal Battalion, under the leadership of LTC PHILMER M FERNANDEZ, successfully conducted the Tactical Radio Communication Training held at Regional Mobile Force Battalion 10 (RMFB 10) Headquarters, Camp General Nicolas Capestrano, Gusa, Cagayan de Oro City, from 20 to 24 July 2026. The five-day training enhanced the participants' knowledge and proficiency in tactical radio communications through comprehensive classroom lectures and hands-on practical exercises on the operation, maintenance, and proper employment of tactical radio communication systems.

On 02 July 2026, COLONEL ALADDIN A JOVE GSC (SC) PA conducted his official visit to the Headquarters, 4th Signal Battalion, Signal Regiment, Philippine Army at Camp Evangelista, Patag, Cagayan de Oro City. The visit highlighted the Command's commitment to strengthening leadership, operational readiness, and organizational excellence. During his engagement with the Battalion's officers, enlisted personnel, and civilian human resources, COL JOVE emphasized the importance of discipline, professionalism, mission accomplishment, and the continuous enhancement of communications and information systems capabilities in support of the Philippine Army's mandate.

The official visit and educational session reinforced the Battalion's commitment to developing highly capable, mission-ready Signal personnel dedicated to delivering reliable communications support and excellent services.

The 4th Signal Battalion warmly welcomed COL CHRISTOPHER M MENDOZA, Regiment Inspector General, Signal Regiment, Philippine Army as he conducted the Annual General Inspection of the unit from 25 to 27 June 2026 at the Headquarters, 4th Signal Battalion. The inspection aimed to assess the battalion's operational readiness, administrative efficiency, logistical capability, and compliance with existing policies and standards. It also served as an opportunity to validate the unit's best practices, identify areas for improvement, and ensure that personnel remain mission-ready in support of the Philippine Army's communication and information systems requirements.

During the three-day inspection, COL Mendoza examined the battalion's operational procedures, records, facilities, equipment, and personnel readiness while engaging unit officers and troops on the importance of discipline, accountability, and adherence to established standards. He likewise commended the dedication and professionalism demonstrated by the officers, enlisted personnel, and civilian human resources of the battalion, encouraging them to sustain their commitment to excellence and continuously enhance their capabilities in providing reliable communications support to higher headquarters and supported units.

Headquarters, 4th Signal Battalion, Camp Evangelista, Patag, Cagayan de Oro City | 08 June 2026 – The 4th Signal Battalion welcomed MAJOR GENERAL MARION T ANGCAO PA, Commander, 4th Infantry “Diamond” Division, during his official visit to the unit on 08 June 2026 at Headquarters, 4th Signal Battalion.

The visit underscored the Division Commander's commitment to ensuring the operational readiness and effectiveness of units under the Division. During the engagement, MAJOR GENERAL ANGCAO was briefed on the battalion's current operational capabilities, accomplishments, ongoing initiatives, and communication support efforts in line with the mission of the 4th Infantry Division.

The Commander also had the opportunity to interact with officers, enlisted personnel, and civilian human resources, recognizing their dedication and professionalism in delivering reliable and secure communications support to the Division and its subordinate units.
In his Talk to Troops, MAJOR GENERAL ANGCAO highlighted his Command Guidance embodied in the acronym "DIAMOND," which serves as a guiding principle for all personnel of the 4th Infantry “Diamond” Division:
