At 9:00 a.m., LEDIPO Pigcawayan participated in the meeting convened by the Cotabato Provincial Economic Development and Investment Promotion Office (CPEDIPO) at the Pasalubong Center, Provincial Capitol, Amas, Kidapawan City.
The meeting was attended by Business Development Unit Focal Person Marchielyn Lei C. Saberon and Investment Services Focal Person Leziel Mae A. Tadeo, together with Local Economic Development and Investment Promotion Officers (LEDIPOs) from various local government units.
The meeting focused on the MSME Counselling Program and Kalivungan Festival-related activities, particularly the implementation arrangements, coordination mechanisms, and roles of participating LGUs in ensuring the successful conduct of the activities.

Meanwhile, at the LEDIPO Office in Pigcawayan, a parallel coordination meeting was conducted with the Pigcawayan MSME Development Council, led by Development Management Officer V Cristine G. Mercado, MBA, together with Enterprise Research Unit Focal Person Stephany Hong.
The local meeting focused on preparations for Pigcawayan's participation in the Yaman ng Cotabato Travel and Trade Expo, including the identification and coordination of participating MSMEs, product consignments, product displays, and strategies to effectively showcase the municipality's locally made products.
The MSME Development Council also discussed the crafting of its bylaws to establish clear policies, organizational procedures, and mechanisms for the sustained implementation of MSME development initiatives in the municipality.
Another significant agenda was the proposed motion requesting the Sangguniang Bayan to encourage the 28 Barangay Councils of Pigcawayan to allocate funds in their respective 2027 Annual Budgets for MSME-related programs and activities. The initiative seeks to strengthen grassroots support for local entrepreneurs and ensure that MSME development becomes a sustained priority across the municipality.
Through these simultaneous coordination efforts at the provincial and municipal levels, LEDIPO Pigcawayan continues to build stronger partnerships with government agencies, the MSME Development Council, barangays, and local entrepreneurs.
The upcoming Yaman ng Cotabato Travel and Trade Expo will provide an important platform to showcase โManggad Sang Pigcawayan,โ highlighting the creativity, craftsmanship, and entrepreneurial spirit of Pigcawayan's local MSMEs while opening opportunities for wider markets, business connections, and increased consumer appreciation of locally made products.
These initiatives underscore the commitment of the Municipality of Pigcawayan through LEDIPO to promote local products, empower MSMEs, strengthen institutional support, and create sustainable economic opportunities for local entrepreneurs through strategic participation in major provincial events such as the Kalivungan Festival 2026.
