The SGA Field Health Office, in coordination with RHU Tugunan and local stakeholders, provided essential health services to the residents of Barangay Balong and Barangay Manaulanan, Tugunan, which were affected by armed conflict.
The activity focused on addressing the immediate health needs of affected individuals and families through health consultations, provision of medicines and health information, identification and referral of cases, and Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS). The health team also provided supportive interventions to individuals experiencing stress and psychosocial distress related to the conflict situation.
Despite challenges related to accessibility, security, displacement, and limited resources, the activity helped ensure the continuity of essential health services and strengthened coordination between the health team, RHU, barangay officials, and the affected communities.
