Through its active participation, BFP Pitogo continues to support initiatives that strengthen fire safety awareness, emergency preparedness, and disaster risk reduction in schools. The activity also highlights the importance of collaboration among concerned agencies and educational institutions in ensuring the safety and protection of the school community.

IN PHOTOS || The Bureau of Fire Protection Region IX, under the strong leadership of 𝐅𝐒𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 πŠπ€πƒπˆπ‹ 𝐓 𝐀𝐂𝐀𝐋𝐔𝐋, 𝐃𝐒𝐂, Acting Regional Director, and the supervision of 𝗙𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 π—Ÿπ—¨π—–π—œπ—’ 𝗣 π—”π—Ÿπ—•π—”π—₯π—”π—–π—œπ—‘, 𝗗𝗦𝗖, Provincial Fire Marshal, the personnel of Pitogo Municipal Fire Station, led by SFO3 Fredson S Dolar, Municipal Fire Marshal conducted a two (2) day Community Fire Auxiliary Group (CFAG) Training attended by three (3) representatives from every barangay of Pitogo.

The training covered Basic Life Support (BLS), Foreign Body Airway Obstruction (FBAO), and Bandaging and Splinting, with lectures and hands-on activities designed to enhance the participants’ emergency response and life-saving skills.

The activity aims to strengthen community preparedness and establish capable community partners who can provide immediate assistance during emergencies while awaiting the arrival of professional responders.
