Light to Moderate to Occasionally Heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds are expected in (Paglat, Ampatuan, DatuHofferAmpatuan, DatuAbdullahSangki, Gen.S.K.Pendatun, DatuUnsay, SouthUpi, ShariffAguak, Mamasapano, RajahBuayan, SultanSaBarongis, DatuSaudiAmpatuan, Pagalungan, Guindulungan, ShariffSaydonaMustapha, DatuSalibo, Talayan, DatuAnggalMidtimbang, DatuPiang, Pagagawan) within the next 1-2 hours.

Moderate to heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds are being experienced in (Mangudadatu, Buluan, Pandag, DatuPaglas), which may persist within 1-2 hours and may affect nearby areas.

All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards which include flash floods and landslides.

Coordination Meeting Held for 2nd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill

A preparatory meeting was successfully conducted for the upcoming 2nd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) this June, in partnership with OCD-BAR, PDRRMO-MDS, Municipal Government and MDRRMO of Talayan.

The activity aimed to strengthen inter-agency coordination and ensure the smooth implementation of the exercise. Discussions focused on finalizing operational plans, safety protocols, communication procedures, and ex*****on flow.

Going beyond standard "Duck, Cover, and Hold" procedures, the simulation aims to elevate preparedness by testing response capabilities, evacuation plans, coordination mechanisms, and agency tasking in a realistic scenario-based setting.

Participants emphasized collaboration, clear roles, and enhanced measures to ensure public safety and effective emergency response.

The Provincial Emergency Operations Center (EOC) continues to maintain BLUE Alert Status due to the prevailing Low Pressure Area (LPA) until further notice.

All Municipal Emergency Operations Centers (EOCs) and Incident Management Teams (IMTs) are hereby directed to conduct 24/7 monitoring within their respective areas of responsibility and maintain close coordination with the Provincial EOC by providing continuous situational updates.

Municipal DRRM Councils are also required to submit their preparedness measures, response actions, and incident reports to the Provincial EOC through the PDRRMO via email at [email protected].

Let us remain vigilant and prepared at all times. Keep safe everyone.
