On February 16, 2023, in line with the Women and Children Protection Center’s advocacy measures, PMAJ MERIEL EDITHA M REYES, C, Admin, LFU, was interviewed by Atty. Mimie Sandoval of the UNTV in its “Huntahang Ligal” program on the process of reporting complaints regarding Violence Against Women and their Children. The interview aimed to encourage victims of violence against women and children, trafficking in persons, and other gender-based violence to speak up and contact the local barangay and Women’s Desks in local police stations nationwide.
The “Huntahang Ligal” is a Public Service show aired in UNTV every Thursday at 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM which tackles legal matters and give legal information and awareness to our community.
