The Sangguniang Bayan of Buenavista, under the leadership of the Municipal Vice Mayor, Hon. Cyril C. Beltran, enacted the following legislative measures during its 59th Regular Session held on August 26, 2026:
1. Resolution granting authority to enter into a Partnership Agreement between the Municipality of Buenavista, represented by Hon. Samuel T. Gumarin, MD, MPH and the Buenavista Livestock and Poultry Farmers Association (BLPFA), represented by its President, Kyle Matthew Fernandez, for the implementation, operation, management, monitoring, sustainability, and expansion of the Cattle Multiplier Farm Project under the Livestock Enterprise for Economic Development (LEED) Program of the Department of Agriculture – Regional Field Office VI (DA-RFO VI).
2. Resolution granting authority to the Municipal Mayor, Hon. Samuel T. Gumarin, MD, MPH, to enter into a Contract of Service between the Municipality of Buenavista and Ralph Emer G. Gravela as Dentist at the Office of the Municipal Health Officer.
3. Resolution declaring the SK Annual Budget FY 2026 of Barangays _________, this Municipality, operative.

4. An Ordinance Prohibiting Any Acts of Discrimination within the Municipality of Buenavista, Guimaras on the Basis of Ethnicity, Race, Color, S*x, Gender, S*xual Orientation, Gender Identity, Gender Expression, S*x Characteristics, Language, Religion or Belief, Political or Other Opinion, Social Origin, Property, Birth and Other Status, and Other Protected Attributes, and Providing Penalties Therefor.
5. Resolution granting the petition for the transfer of tricycle franchise zone of Eduardo Eulin, owner/operator of one (1) unit franchised tricycle, for operation within the specified zone mentioned in Municipal Ordinance No. 08, Series of 2023.
6. Resolution supporting the deployment of one (1) Rural Health Physician under the Doctors to the Barrios (DTTB) Program, Batch 45, of the Department of Health for the Municipality of Buenavista.
