| HEIGHTENED PREPAREDNESS AND RESPONSE TO THE CONTINUING EFFECTS HABAGAT
In view of the continuing effects of the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), the Provincial Government of Camarines Sur, through the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC), has issued a directive for heightened preparedness and response across the province.
All concerned local government units, barangays, DRRM offices, and response agencies are directed to:
๐น Maintain continuous monitoring of official weather and hazard advisories
๐น Ensure the readiness of response teams, rescue personnel, vehicles, and equipment
๐น Strengthen barangay-level monitoring and warning systems
๐น Prepare evacuation centers and evacuation plans
๐น Facilitate timely evacuation whenever conditions warrant
๐น Strictly observe safety measures for fishing and sea-related activities
๐น Avoid unnecessary travel and outdoor activities during hazardous weather
๐น Implement localized suspension of classes and work when necessary
๐น Immediately report incidents and requests for assistance
๐น Intensify the dissemination of official warnings, advisories, and safety reminders
