With hearts united in faith and gratitude, the Provincial Economic Enterprise Development Office (PEEDO) personnel gathered for an Ecumenical Prayer Meeting on June 2, 2026, at Kahimunan Hall, Provincial Learning Center, Government Center, Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur.

Guided by the theme "Abundance," the gathering served as a meaningful opportunity to reflect on God's overflowing blessings, strengthen spiritual fellowship, and renew our commitment to service. Facilitated by the Provincial Learning Center (PLC), the activity fostered unity, hope, and thanksgiving among all participants.

Demonstrating teamwork, environmental responsibility, and community spirit, personnel of the Provincial Economic Enterprise Development Office (PEEDO) participated in a clean-up activity within the vicinity of the PEEDOโ€“Provincial Learning Center (PLC) on June 1, 2026.

The activity was conducted as part of the post-event clean-up efforts following the successful hosting of the Palarong Pambansa 2026. Through collective action, PEEDO personnel helped restore cleanliness and orderliness in the area, ensuring that the facilities remain safe, welcoming, and conducive for future activities and guests.

The Marketing Information Support Services (MISS) Technical Working Group (TWG) successfully conducted its 2nd Quarterly Meeting on May 12, 2026, at the Provincial Agriculture Office (PAO), Government Center, Patin-ay, Prosperidad.

The meeting gathered MISS TWG Members, System Administrators, Monitoring In-Charge personnel, Provincial Office representatives, partner agencies, and invited participants to discuss important updates and collaborative efforts in strengthening the monitoring and reporting system.

Key discussions focused on monitoring updates, system enhancements, traders database updates, issues and concerns raised by municipalities, and the formulation of action plans aimed at improving data collection, monitoring efficiency, and reporting mechanisms.

The activity highlighted the commitment of all stakeholders in promoting effective coordination, accurate market information management, and responsive support services for the development of the agriculture sector in the province.

In a significant step toward strengthening learning, collaboration, and public service initiatives in the province, PEEDO conducted the Dedication, Blessing, and Inauguration of the Kahimunan Hall and Provincial Learning Center (PLC) Hostel Facilities on May 18, 2026, at the Provincial Learning Center, Government Center, Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur.

The ceremony was presided over by Rev. Fr. Kimrey A. Pintor and attended by Santiago B. Cane, Jr., Dr. Rodel C. Maglunsod, PEEDO Department Head, department heads from various provincial offices, and PEEDO personnel.

The inauguration of these facilities underscores the Provincial Governmentโ€™s dedication to creating functional spaces that support knowledge-sharing, capacity development, and meaningful engagements among stakeholders. The Kahimunan Hall is envisioned to become a venue for important gatherings, trainings, meetings, and community activities, while the PLC Hostel Facilities will provide comfortable accommodation for participants, guests, and partners attending various provincial programs and activities.

More than just infrastructure projects, these facilities symbolize the provinceโ€™s continuing commitment to fostering growth, innovation, and efficient public service. Clean-up activities at the Provincial Government have long become a way of life, but this time, they carry deeper meaning as Agsurnons continue to unite in shared responsibility for a cleaner, safer, and more welcoming environment.
On Saturday, May 16, 2026, Agsurnons will once again gather for a province-wide clean-up activity covering national highways, the Government Center, and various playing venues, among other key areas, as part of the continuing preparations for the Palarong Pambansa 2026.
The Provincial Government encourages everyone including non-government organizations and volunteers to take part in this meaningful activity and answer the call for unity, environmental responsibility, and community pride.
