𝑺𝒆𝒑𝒕𝒆𝒎𝒃𝒆𝒓 𝑭𝒊𝒓𝒔𝒕 𝑭𝒓𝒊𝒅𝒂𝒚 𝑯𝒐𝒍𝒚 𝑴𝒂𝒔𝒔 ✝

The Restorative Justice Ministries Diocese of Novaliches presided over the First Friday Holy Mass at the Quezon City Jail-Male Dormitory on September 4, 2026.

Rev Fr John Michael Dolom delivered the sermon and blessed the communion bread and cup for the attending persons deprived of liberty (PDL) and jail personnel.

A humble feeding program was organized by both RJM Novaliches and QCJ-MD for the PDL participants to conclude the service.

Under the leadership of the City Jail Warden, JSUPT MARIA LOURDES P PACION, Quezon City Jail Male Dormitory joined the JCMPHS TLE Fair: STEP-UP.PH Season 3, where students showcased their entrepreneurial skills through different products and services.

Among the participants was the QCJMD booth, bringing Tinapay ni PiDeL to the school community. The bread, made by the PDL of QCJMD, was given away for free to attendees, allowing the livelihood program to take part in a fair centered on learning, creativity, and entrepreneurship.

Led by Welfare and Development Section Chief, JSINSP PHILOMEL P MALAZARTE, the participation highlighted how the skills developed inside QCJMD can also find a place beyond the jail facility.

🍞 From the hands of PDL to the school community, Tinapay ni PiDeL brings the message that skills learned today can open doors for tomorrow.

On September 3, 2026, 𝐉𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝚰𝐀 𝐋𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐃𝐄𝐒 𝐏 𝐏𝐀𝐂𝚰𝐎𝐍, QCJ-MD Jail Warden, together with JO2 Jana Pearl Vega participated in the FY 2027 Preliminary Budget Hearing held at the 6th Floor, Finance Building, City Budget Office Conference Room, Quezon City Hall.

Presided over by Mr. Michael Victor N. Alimurung, Quezon City Administrator, the hearing focused on the proposed budgets and programs of participating departments for Fiscal Year 2027. Jail Warden Pacion also presented QCJ-MD’s ongoing programs and activities that require consideration and support in the upcoming budget.

The activity provided an opportunity to strengthen coordination with the Quezon City Government and help ensure continued support for QCJ-MD’s operations, PDL welfare, rehabilitation programs, and facility needs.

Under the leadership of 𝑱𝑺𝑼𝑷𝑻 𝑴𝑨𝑹𝑰𝑨 𝑳𝑶𝑼𝑹𝑫𝑬𝑺 𝑷 𝑷𝑨𝑪𝑰𝑶𝑵, City Jail Warden, The Voice of the PDL 2K26 was held at the Activity Area, where PDL showcased their singing talents and passion for music.

The 2nd phase of the singing competition, the Battle Round commenced on September 2, 2026, where the PDL showcased their blazing voices in a fiery combat towards the next phase of the competition! 🔥

𝐒𝐎𝐂𝚰𝐀𝐋 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐏𝐎𝐍𝐒𝚰𝐁𝚰𝐋𝚰𝐓𝐘 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐂𝐇 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐌 💜

On August 31, 2026, Under the guidance of City Jail Warden, 𝐉𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐀 𝐋𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐃𝐄𝐒 𝐏 𝐏𝐀𝐂𝐈𝐎𝐍, the QCJ-MD conducted a meaningful Social Responsibility and Outreach Program by facilitating a surprise e-Dalaw for visitorless, indigent, sick, and aged (VISA) persons deprived of liberty (PDL).

As one of the best practices of the City Jail Warden, the initiative gave PDL who never receive visitors the opportunity to reconnect with their loved ones through virtual communication. The meaningful conversations brought smiles and comfort as PDL were given the chance to see and speak with their loved ones

The activity was conducted in partnership with RJM-Diocese of Cubao, whose support helped make these meaningful family connections possible.

The participating PDL thanked QCJ-MD for making the meaningful family connection possible.

Nagtuos ang ibat-ibang mga tanggapan ng Panglalaking Piitang-Panglungsod ng Quezon para sa Kulminasyon ng Buwan ng Wika sa pamamagitan ng mga awitin na pinapamalas ang Tinig ng Mga Rehiyon ng ating Bansa ngayong Agosto 31, 2026.

Tampok sa pagtatanghal ng mga kawani ang mga tradisyonal na awitin sa wikang Bikolano, Pangasinense, Chavacano, Ilokano, Hiligaynon, at Waray. Nagsilbing mga hurado sina JSUPT MARIA LOURDES P PACION, Tagapamahala ng Panlalaking Piitang-Panlungsod, JSINSP PHILOMEL P MALAZARTE, Hepe ng Seksyon ng Kapakanan at Pagunlad, at si Susana Datinguinoo ng Restorative Justice Ministry Diocese of Cubao.

Nabingwit ng Seksyon ng Kapakanan at Pagunlad ang kampyonato sa pamamagitan ng kanilang awiting Ilocano na may kasamang pang-teatrong arte. Kinilala din ang mga empleyado na may-kaarawan ngayong buwan ng Agosto sa pamamagitan ng mga munting regalo at keyk.

Sa pangunguna ng Tagapamahala ng Panglalaking Piitang-Panglungsod ng Quezon na si JSUPT MARIA LOURDES P PACION, ang mga kawani ay nagtipon-tipon na nakadamit ng katutubong kasuotan ngayong Araw ng Mga Bayani para sa pag-sasagawa ng Seremonya ang Pagtaas ng Watawat nitong ika-31 ng Agosto 2026.

Naghandog ng isang makabagbag-damdaming mensahe si JO1 Fernandez Jr patungkol sa emosyonal na katatagan - na ang paglilingkod bilang parte ng kawanian ng BJMP ay kailangan ng lakas ng loob, hindi lang para sa aspetong pisikal ngunit pati din sa mga pagsubok na personal upang magampanan ng may karangalan ang tungkulin.

Kasabay nito, pinarangalan din ang ilang mga tauhan ng sertipiko para sa kanilang pang-bolunterismong gawain na pag-tatanim ng puno, isang uri ng kabayanihan na nakakatulong sa kalikasan at sambayanan.
