BEST IN TRAVEL AND ADVENTURES 2025

The Travel and Adventures category is widely regarded as the most expensive niche among all eight major content topics in the Philippine vlogging scene. Unlike other categories, it demands not just creativity, but also significant financial investment and logistical planning.

Creators in this field must cover the costs of transportation, from bus and ferry tickets to flights, along with accommodation expenses, food, gear, and sometimes even permits. Many also need to rent rooms, hire local guides, or secure equipment for specialized shoots such as drone footage or underwater scenes.

On top of that, the niche requires a demanding schedule. Vloggers often travel for days or weeks at a time, braving unpredictable weather, long hours on the road, and remote locations where editing and uploading are challenging. Each episode is the product of extensive preparation, research, and physical effort, making the content more than just a simple recording, it’s a carefully crafted experience.

CRITERIA FOR SELECTION
To ensure that the Best Travel & Adventure Vloggers of 2025 list truly reflects the spirit of authentic Filipino travel storytelling, nominees were evaluated based on the following standards:

1. Filipino Citizenship – Only vloggers who are Filipino citizens are eligible. This ensures the recognition is given to local creators who proudly represent the country and its culture.
2. Philippines-Based Content – The vlogger’s work must focus entirely on content filmed within the Philippines, highlighting its destinations, culture, and people.
3. Visible Host / On-Camera Presence – The vlogger must have a recognizable face or on-screen identity. Anonymous channels or those without a host are not included, as this award celebrates creators who personally connect with their audience.
4. Original Content Creation – Videos must be original works of the creator, not reuploads or compilations from other sources. Creativity, uniqueness, and personal perspective are key factors.
5. Narration or Storytelling – The vlogger must incorporate narration, commentary, or storytelling throughout their videos, rather than relying solely on background music. This ensures the content is informative, engaging, and personally driven.
6. Ethical Standards – Vloggers must not endorse, promote, or be affiliated with any form of online gambling (whether legal or illegal), nor should they engage in activities that promote harmful or unethical behavior.

From an initial pool of 872 travel and adventure vloggers from across the Philippines, we carefully narrowed the list down to the Top 50 finalists. These finalists were then ranked according to their equivalent scores, based on the set criteria and judging process.

The highest score achieved was an impressive 99.90 for the 1st place winner, followed closely by 99.40 for 2nd place, 98.90 for 3rd place, and so on, with the 50th place earning a respectable 75.00. This scoring reflects a high level of excellence across the board, with even the last spot representing strong creative and technical merit.

To ensure a fair, credible, and unbiased result, the judging panel consisted of 20 members:
•19 judges were industry professionals, including film and TV directors, seasoned actors, former vloggers, professional video editors, and well-known celebrities who understand both the creative and technical demands of travel content creation.
•Pinoy History served as only one of these judges. This structure ensured that no single organization or personality could dominate the results, maintaining a fair and balanced evaluation process

This diverse judging panel ensured that the results were balanced, impartial, and based on both storytelling quality and technical mastery, celebrating vloggers who not only entertain but also inspire audiences to explore the Philippines.
