Ipinapaalala ng DILG Central Luzon na ngayong araw, May 18, 2026, ang ABSOLUTE DEADLINE para sa voter registration. Ang pakikilahok sa halalan ay hindi lamang karapatan, kundi tungkulin ng bawat mamamayan.

Nais natin ng isang pamahalaang matino, mahusay, at maaasahan, ngunit hindi ito maisasakatuparan kung hindi tayo makikilahok. Ang tunay na pagbabago ay hindi nagsisimula sa reklamo, kundi sa pagkilos.

Patunayan natin ang lakas ng ating boses. Magparehistro na!

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) has issued Memorandum Circular No. 2026-006, reiterating the strict prohibition on the display and/or affixture of names, images, and likenesses of public officials on government funded projects.

Under Section 5.2, “All covered officials and employees are hereby directed to cause the immediate removal of existing signages, tarpaulins, markers, or materials that violate this Circular.”

MC 2026-006 underscores that government resources shall not be used for personal promotion or political advantage, upholding neutrality, accountability, and ethical governance. It further reminds concerned officials and offices to ensure compliance at all stages of project implementation, from planning to ex*****on and monitoring.

Through this issuance, the DILG reinforces the principle that public service is about service to the people not personal recognition, and that government projects belong to the public they are meant to serve.

Kasunod ito ng mabibigat na paratang na binitiwan ng kongresista laban kina Pres. Bongbong Marcos at dating House speaker Martin Romualdez.

Tila "very dramatic" din umano ang biglang pagsulpot ng kongresista lalo't parang timing din aniya ito sa nalalapit na mga protesta.

"Ngayon lang ako nakakita ng presidente na gagawa ng insertions sa sarili niyang budget," pagkuwestiyon pa ni Llamas sa pahayag ni Co.
