Ang Sangay ng mga Paaralang Panlungsod, Lungsod Quezon ay buong-pusong nakikiisa sa pambansang pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika ngayong Agosto.

Sa ilalim ng temang "Wikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon," binibigyang-diin natin ang mahalagang papel ng ating wika sa gitna ng mabilis na pag-unlad ng agham at teknolohiya. Ang wikang Filipino ay hindi lamang natin pamana, ito ay aktibong instrumento sa paglikha ng bagong kaalaman at pag-unawa sa digital na panahon.

Maging gabay nawa ang ating wika sa pagbuo ng mas matalino at mapanuring pamayanan.

Isinagawa ng SDOQC - CID ang Division Orientation on the Utilization of the Revised Alternative Learning System (ALS) Assessment Tools for ALS Implementers sa Sto Cristo ES nitong Hulyo 23, 2026 mula 3:00 hanggang 6:00 ng hapon matapos ang regular na klase, bilang pagsunod sa alituntunin sa instructional block ng three-term calendar.

Tampok sa oryentasyon ang pagpapaliwanag sa mga bagong ALS Assessment forms at sinundan ito ng open forum kung saan nagkaroon ng talakayan at paglilinaw sa mga katanungan ng mga gurong kalahok.

Layunin ng gawain na palakasin ang kaalaman at kasanayan ng mga ALS implementer upang mas maging epektibo ang pagpapatupad ng mga revised assessment tools sa kanilang mga klase.

In celebration of National Disability Rights Week, the Quezon City Persons with Disability Affairs Office (QCPDAO) successfully conducted the "Building Bridges: Stakeholders Forum on Inclusive Education."
The forum aimed to strengthen the implementation of inclusive education in Quezon City public schools by fostering inclusive learning environments, promoting equitable access to quality education, and amplifying the voices and lived experiences of learners with disabilities.
Through meaningful discussions and collaboration among stakeholders, the event reinforced the shared commitment to building a more inclusive, accessible, and empowering educational system for all learners.

In support of the Department of Education National Capital Region’s continuing efforts to strengthen curriculum implementation, enhance instructional quality, and promote school-based professional development, the Curriculum Implementers Convergence on LAC Sessions and Assessment was successfully conducted on July 13–17, 2026, at Swiss Bluelane Hotel, Binondo, Manila.

The activity served as a valuable platform for curriculum implementers to deepen their understanding of effective Learning Action Cell (LAC) practices and assessment strategies aligned with DepEd policies and standards. Through meaningful discussions, collaborative learning, and capacity-building sessions, participants enhanced their competencies and gained insights that will help improve teaching practices and learner outcomes in their respective schools.

The convergence highlighted the importance of continuous professional growth, shared accountability, and commitment to educational excellence, further empowering educators to deliver quality, responsive, and learner-centered education.
