PROJECT PITCHING COMPETITION

Mechanics
1. The Project Pitching Competition is open to all youth organizations, including school-based organizations, Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), recognized student organizations and clubs, Youth Officers Association (YOA), and other organized youth groups within Barangay San Jose.
2. Interested participants shall register through the official QR Code or registration link provided by the organizers. Registration shall be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until August 16, 2026, and only the first ten (10) officially registered teams that have successfully completed the registration requirements shall be accepted.
3. During registration, each participating team shall upload an Initial Project Proposal in PDF format through the official registration form. Only teams that successfully complete the registration requirements shall be considered officially registered.
4. Each participating team may consist of three (3) to five (5) members.
5. Each participating team may register only one (1) project proposal.
6. The proposed project must align with at least one (1) of the Seventeen (17) United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and shall address a relevant issue, concern, or opportunity affecting the school, organization, community, or the youth sector. The proposal must present practical, innovative, and sustainable solutions.
7. The proposed project must be the original work of the participating team and must not have won in any previous project pitching or similar competition.
8. The Project Pitching Competition shall be conducted during the Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 Culminating Activity on August 22, 2026 at the Phase 1B Covered Court, Kasiglahan Village, unless otherwise announced by the organizers.
9. During the Culminating Activity, each participating team shall submit three (3) printed hard copies of the Final Project Proposal to the Board of Judges prior to the commencement of the judging. The Final Project Proposal may contain revisions or improvements from the Initial Project Proposal submitted during registration.
10. Each participating team shall be assigned one (1) Project Pitching Booth where they shall exhibit and present their proposed project using posters, infographics, audiovisual presentations, prototypes, or other appropriate visual materials.
11. Each team shall remain at its designated booth throughout the judging period. The Board of Judges shall visit each booth to evaluate the exhibit, hear the project pitch, and conduct the question-and-answer portion.
12. Participants may utilize PowerPoint presentations, videos, prototypes, infographics, or other presentation materials to effectively communicate their proposed project.
13. The organizers shall provide only the designated booth space. Participating teams shall be responsible for bringing, setting up, and operating their own presentation equipment and display materials, including laptops, projectors, televisions or monitors, extension cords, speakers, adapters, and other materials necessary for their presentation. The organizers shall not be held liable for the provision, safety, security, or functionality of such equipment.
14. Each team shall deliver an oral presentation before the Board of Judges. The presentation shall clearly discuss the following:
• The problem or issue being addressed;
• The proposed solution or project;
• The Sustainable Development Goal(s) being addressed;
• Project objectives;
• Target beneficiaries;
• Implementation plan and timeline;
• Estimated budget and possible funding sources; and
• Expected outcomes and sustainability of the project.
15. The decision of the Board of Judges shall be final and irrevocable.
16. The project proposal that earns the highest overall score based on the prescribed judging criteria shall be declared the Best Project Pitching. Only one (1) team shall be proclaimed as the winner and shall receive a Php.5,000.00 Cash Prize and a Certificate of Recognition.
17. Participating schools that are not selected as the Best Project Pitching shall each receive a Consolation Prize and a Certificate of Participation in recognition of their creativity, innovation, and valuable contribution to the competition.
